People seem to think this is a good deal for Liverpool, but they're just going to buy a few average players with the Sterling money, like they did last summer with Suarez. Selling your best players like that is a small club mentality & precisely why Sterling wanted to leave.

Lacazette is absolutely not worth 40million pounds or 52mil euros. Not even close.

Like I said, they will end up overpaying, but they need quality up front and having no CL does them no favors. Plus i'd rather overspend for Lacazette than Berahino or Benteke, every day of the week.

fwiw Lacazette is a lot more worthy of the 49m paid for Sterling than Sterling himself
