One of Madrid's best players again. I think twice in the match he saved Madrid from conceding but then got fooled by Alexis on his brilliant goal. This kid and Marquinhos are probably going to be the best defenders in the world in 2 or 3 years.

In what exactly did he fail in Alexis goal? He did the right thing by shutting the way for Alexis, there wasn't something more he could do. Let's just give credit to Alexis for keeping the ball and finishing smartly. And he was no way responsible for Neymar's goal, he wasn't the one marking him, it was Carvajal...

did well on both plays, people do not realize how skillful and difficult those types of plays are from the forwards side. there are times when you have to tip your hat to the skill as a defender.

this is why such players like neymar, messi and alexis cost so much, they can break a team's defensive scheme with one moment.

Disagree. Alexis was alone and he gave him space to look,think and shoot.

What's wrong with you guys? Why so insecure about the status of a player?

Never mind the fact that your logic is weak cuz just since I put them in a category together does not mean they are equal within that category. That's your assumption.

Just because he scored this great goal today that does not mean he´s the kind of player that alone can break defenses in a regular basis.

IMHO he could've done better against Alexis. He was close to Alexis, but he didn't engage him first time and instead he run back, which allowed Alexis to control the ball, see the situation and shoot.
