Weren't you, like, one of those wankers who feared Mourinho before he got signed? :icon_neutral:

Nope i hated him 2 years ago with Inter when he played bad and crashed in the CL i slated him all year and preferred Mancio tactics if Jose will get the same result . he was brilliant enough to prove me wrong last season

continue with your wanking ;)

Hey, I didn't say anything last weeks competitionwise about Real as I don't want to follow them and thus not see there games.

Only saw the CL-game versus Milan and I saw a good Madrid that didn't really worry me. That's all.

"We have to start working on our game against Murcia as of now. Ozil, Carvalho and Xabi Alonso will have a three-day holiday. The rest will be called-up for the match. Benzema will be a starter, and so will Ronaldo. It is a very important game to me. If last year’s situation repeats itself, I will cross those who play off my list because they will be dead to me."

Copa del Gay. Mourinho does not want what happened last year to happen again, otherwise those participate in this match will be crossed of his available players and will be considered dead.

He wants every single member to consider this important, very important. Treat it just like any other match.

Finally Madrid is not acting like they are too big for certain games. The mentality you need to have I'm afraid. This is why Mourinho is the best man manager in the business.

That is pretty spot on, especially to anyone who recalls when he left Chelsea. For the last year and a half of his time there (particularly the start of 07-08 before he left) teams seemed to have found him out tactically, and he struggled to reproduce the form that had seen them win two championships.

Actually it seems a theme in modern football in Spain and England. Teams do well for two seasons, and struggle in the third even if they win a trophy in the end. Then in the fourth unless you change something fundamentally you're doomed, pretty much.

Worrying for us indeed...

I don't think Madrid is going anywhere in Europe, not this year anyway. If anything we stand a better chance there than they do.

But I would bet a kidney that they win the league this year.

i will wait till the end of this season to claim ur kidney :D

After the match Mourinho said that he won't go easy on Murcia by any chance. Mentioned that CR will be a first team choice, same thing about Benzema, Albiol and Marcelo (which is why he got subbed 25 mins before the end of the game). On the other hand, Alonso, Ozil and Carvalho can count on 3 days off where as Higuain and Di Maria will be benched.

They're looking a frightening prospect at the moment, but as others have said the league is a marathon, not a sprint decided by games against Depor and Racing. At the moment we're winning whilst playing badly, people forget we usually have a patch like this each season before we return to playing orgasmic football. There's over a month to prepare for El Clasico and we need that time to get our mojo going again.

That's to be expected, Mourinho's clever enough to realise the importance of momentum and even if it's a second string that goes out and plays the CDR the result still affects the squad as a whole. When he started at Chelski Mourinho prioritised the Carling Cup just to get a winning feeling going early on in the season.
