Rick the same glory hunters are the same people you have now.. they will change to the next successful club (as some here already said when they aligned themselves just with the beautiful game not the club itself )

Even though the studies show Barca superiority in Europe Real Madrid is still globally second behind United (Harvard study ) even before Jose took over so no we are not worried
and i believe he is great behind the cameras .. judging from all the players he coached personal loyalty to him and prominent figures like SAF who both call each other close friends despite the rivalry .
anything Jose does in front of the cameras is only to divert attention and pressure of his players.. anyone would be a fool to give notice for his words but he somehow successfully manage to do that with Barca (and other teams ) for several years now but come one don't tell me you don't know that & believe all he say , do you ?

i agree with the glory-hunters part. Each team has them, especially if you are succesfull atm(that's what the study shows). Madrid got all of their fans becuase of their succesfull periods as well

Mourinho is hard to understand, he seems to be the nicest guy to his players(like materazzi or sneijder). But then he acts like an ass for everybody else, like i said he is all about winning at any cost. And me(personal opinion) thinks he goes too far with the excuse of "diverting attention and pressure of his players". I just don't think that's right and laudable. There are ways to win and his is the worst i've seen(personal opinon again)

Well Rick his method is us against the world with unity in the team.. so when you analyze it he need extreme hate to be successful
imagine if no one hated Jose and his teams.. what will he do to motivate them ?
the more you hate him/his team the more you actually help him to reach his point .

he may not be your cup of tea (and others ) but he does a good job and reach his target , i don't think we can qualify "win at all cost " this season on Jose as Real showed enough talent and great games unlike the infamous 1-0 style.. in fact we are one of the best team in terms of attack even in the CL.. of course this is all early signs a lot can happen and the road is long ahead but the the signs are very optimistic , Real are actually playing really good this year (tonight game aside as it's an exception not the rule )

House of Flies

all your bases belong to us
heh, my friend met mourinho and she said that he was the most charming man that she has met.

she used to teach her kids in Milano.

when i said 'winning at all cost' I wasn't talking about the way this Madrid plays especifically (they are doing good). i was talking about his confrontations withc everybody. i guess we'll have to agree to disagree cos' I'll never approve his manners

I'd sure love to see what she looks like :D

sure thing.. he do that to all rival clubs.. he makes everyone who is not a supporter of the team he manage to reach this point so it's very understandable how you feel
As i said he play on most clubs although i have to say he is (so far ) on a tight leash in Spain apart from Gijon there was nothing worth mentioning (compared to Serie A or EPL ) although we are approaching the Classico so expect some stuff heading your way :D

End of May than Rick :D
hahha, no. mourinho is a family man.

and his wife is apparently scary (as in intimidating and egoistic)

My god i was curious to see what she looks like.. she is freaking scary and damn ugly for him

It must be love.. no other explanation

That's the only possible explanation .. cause really if he like a 7/10 looks wise she must be between 0.5 - 1/10

Hmmm, are you sure that isn't his mother? :hmmm: He surely could get a lot better, yeah.

Positive , that's Tami Mourinho

El Gato

Villarato!
Em, it's not for me to judge Jose, but yeah.. his wife's face is .. just ugh.

BTW
Preciado's press conference was calmer than I thought it would be. He simply stated that he stands by his pre-match words, the game was really tough, his team fought to the end and the referee had a tough game to call which he doesn't want to comment on.

Top of the table + still undefeated. Bring on the Classic.

LOL LOL LOL, please me tell the first version is just typical newspaper bullshit. If not then I feel proud to have Mourinho on team to show these kinds of idiots how it's done on the pitch by the team he coaches.

I suppose you haven't followed Mourinho in previous years. Last year he had an argument with nearly every manager in Italy...

And? What was made of them? Nothing. Besides Ranieri no one really paid cared. A couple of back and forth arguments did not change anything. If anything Mourinho on countless times praised Italian football and indirectly paid his respect to small club managers for their ability to make things difficult on the pitch.

 55%?

sport+markt(leading comapany in research and investigation) said that madrid has 6,8 millions of fans in Spain (39%) and Barcelona has 5,5 (29%) There is a big margin for antimadridismo that is clearly growing in Spain, just check what happened today on the pitch. PURE HATE

PD. Barcelona has more fans in Europe

Pure hate? Far from. One fan's actions is not to be mistaken for an entire region. If you want spite and 'pure hate' (which, btw is a very strong word) check out Bilbao and what they do to Casillas every year.

Sevilla play us off the park season in and season out, and their stadium is even rowdier but nothing suggests that Sevilla hate us.

Sporting is a competitive club, always been always will be. It is their nature. They relish these moments, it is what defines them. When they lost to Barcelona 6-1, they stood their ground and they attacked. Next week they did the same against Madrid and lost 7-1, but they don't back down.

This is Spain my friend, on the Mediterranean, back and forth shit talking and boiling blood is in the nature of everyone in that region. A cup of coffee and the rest is history.

I agree, before Mourinho Inter were actually a very respexted club, now they are so hated its so unreal. An even worse fate awaits for Real Madrid.

Inter were not respected in Europe, in fact most clubs couldn't careless for Inter because they had no place in Europe. Now they do, and nobody besides Barcelona hate Inter. Mind you, please do not mix up Benitez's flopping in Europe with them being a lot more likable

In short, studies, opinions, forums, financial figures, cup titles whatever it may be that any of here uses to prove the club's reputation in Europe, football is about winning and that is what people remember. If you play beautiful kudos to you, but if not, a legendary result is a legendary result.

Madrid's success and its size in Europe is far bigger than one person. Mourinho will never be part of Real Madrid's history and will never change the club's reputation with his antics. Tomorrow, should he fall out with Perez and move on, all this will be forgotten and people who hate madrid will continue to hate madrid, and people who love madrid will continue to love madrid. Nuetrals will come and go, because of success.

Football fans don't hate, football fans love to enjoy football. No matter how bitter or hostile you are, unless it is political most people pay attention to the winner.

If you look at Madrid's reputation in England you'd find strong ties with Manchester, Chelsea, Liverpool, and perhaps Arsenal. In fact, Barcelona made more enemies in London than Madrid have. Madrid's close relationship with Milan is another indication of Madrid's popularity. Again, Barcelona made more enemies in Milan than Madrid ever have.

As long as Real Madrid remains part of the elite (which reminds me, I hope we move back to pot 1 soon ) Mourinho's gestures and comments will not have a serious impact on the club's reputation.
