It's irrelevant? It certainly is a big part of his reputation, or lack thereof. Him running his mouth causes lots of backlash from other coaches and that's partly why he's an asshole. And haha, being a hypocrite.. For every one arrogant comment that a Barca player says, there are hundreds of arrogant comments by Mourinho.

the fact remains that Mourinho had a valid point to call Precideo act as lack of sportsmanship was spot on , even our fan club Getafe throw their full squad vs us.
Precideo comments was out of line completely and pushing for violence he was helped by his own personal character as one of the manager who people sympathize with due to his personal tragedy nothing more nothing less

WTF? How is his past actions irrelevant? It's what makes him Mourinho. And besides, how is this in the past (I must be high typing this), he still is arrogant even while he's in La Liga. If it weren't for his lack of sportsmanship, ironically, I'd bet that Precideo would have doubts about making that comment. I wouldn't be surprised if the Spanish Board has taken into consideration Mourinho's attitude and how it will effect the present and future state of La Liga when they consider that ban on him.

Additionally, everyone knows who Mourinho is and that his greatest rival in his career has arguably been Barca. You can't deny the fact that Cules will greatly dislike him. Erase his arrogance and Cules and everyone else wouldn't give two shits about making any comments on him.

the only incident was commenting on Sporting resting 5/6 players from their starters and in that we hear it several times from different managers . and what he said without taking anything out of context "if all clubs play rest their starters vs Barca it will be hard winning the league trophy " .. he didn't even mention Gijon by name and there is no arrogance nor lack of sportsmanship in what he said .

Of course, I remember him making great comments on Pep but I also remember him bringing Figo randomly to the Camp Nou Return leg. Once again, the past effects the present. The board knows who Mourinho is so they are strict on him and Mourinho shouldn't have made that comment in the first place. Precideo simply gave Mourinho a taste of his own medicine.

Oh and besides, I don't need to state my argument twice to get my point across.

O please... Mourinho decided to have a "special" buddy come with him to Barcelona when he hasn't even been in the bench for minimal, if not, none of the serie A or other games that Inter played? Quite a special occassion for Figo to come I bet he really missed the city.

Plus, the Gijon fans are much more irrelevant than any of the stuff I mentioned. They have nothing to do with Mourinho or Preciado. Mourinho doesn't have a right to question his tactics and lineups and even say he's doing it to help Barca. Seems to me (and to many others http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/blog/_/name/train_rob/id/5812581/the-special-one-hitting-new-lows like he's trying to stir shit up)
