thought you promised to stop that after a great post i made.

also wtf is up with sahin? is his career finished?

and casillas is class. go watch the CDR final again.

Er one game isn't indicative of how good a keeper is, mind you. If performing well against Barcelona was the benchmark for a great keeper, then Almunia is the best in the world. But of course, I'm not gonna suggest Casillas is a bad keeper or anything. He's very good. Almost as good as Valdes imo....but then again not quite.

No smart ass , his contract ends next summer that's why

No problem for Sahin .. he is young he will regain his form it's not like the case of Kaka who was in the twilight of his career so every year/month counts

So was Nasri's, but Arsenal let him go for over 20m. I don't know where this myth comes from that if a player is in the last year of his contract he has to go for cheap. Its like people who keep saying that raising your hands is an automatic red card, no such rule exists lmao, no matter how many times the media and commentators say it does.

Mourinho claims that his seasons always start with a draw, so lets hope he's right :D

A good start for Castilla this season. First 1-0 home win against Sporting Gijon B and today away win 0-2 against Conquense.

Madrid gets easy in La Liga. You can bet your left nut that Zaragoza is going to park the bus against Barcelona, but when they play Madrid, they, for some strange reason, believe they can outplay them. If Zaragoza plays like this against Barcelona, I can't see Barca not putting 10 past them.

Madrid winning was a no-brainer, but the space given to them was ridiculous. I disagree with those who say that Madrid are the same as last year. Clearly, Mourinho is starting to employ Barcelona's pressing game and in that last few games, they are also getting better at one-touches. Their movements also show that they are trying to mimic Barca. The only big difference is that they find it very hard to score from build-up play. 4 out of 5 goals are scored from counters and set-pieces.

Madrid generally find it very tough to win against a parked bus, but unfortunately it seems that tactic is reserved for games against Barcelona only.

My bad-football-tolerance meter was screaming from watching Arsenal and Real Zaragoza.

Honestly though, and I know we all said this last year, Madrid should be blowing teams out by 8 pts every game with the squad they have. They have 2 first teams that can place 2nd and 3rd in La Liga without a blink. A draw would be a shame. Which brings up the fact that beating Real Madrid is always a triumph on it's own. Barcelona, as great as we are, will always be an underdog and I like that. It just makes our wins that much more enjoyable.

Now, I just hope the rest of La Liga can pick it up. But it's tough with RM and FCB hogging all the TV dough. Gotta share if we want a healthy league.

Probably true. It is something the big 2 will have to consider because ultimately, a competitive set up will only benefit them in the long run any way. We have seen the damage a lack of competition can do in leagues such as the SPL.
