In Lucho we trust!
transfers IN:

35 Benzema : Lyon
94 C Ronaldo : Man United
65 Kaka : Milan
15 Albiol : Valencia
5 Arbeloa : Liverpool
4 Granero : Getafe
5 Negredo : Almeria
Garay (end of loan ):Racing Santander

223

Transfers out :

5 Saviola:Benfica = 5 Mi
8 Javi Garcia : Benfica = 8 Mil
Parejo : Getafe = undisclosed
Heinze : Marseille = free

13 + 4 (guess) = 17

Total = 206

If we go with Perez saying they have €300mil then we can assume that there is 94 in the pot to spend, so why are they dragging their heals with Xabi? Does the 300 really exist or was it an exaggeration by the press, or does that figure also include the wages for the first year on the new signings? That would explain why they are so desperate to offload before they can buy again.

If so, how much do you think they need to raise until they can buy again?

Spain isn't a republic, it's a Kingdom with a constitutional monarchy.

Well you're not a republic either, you have a benevolent dictator in charge of the club.

that's great news...would be awesome if xabi alonso finally joins madrid!!!

this however makes me pretty damn sad, since judging by the agents words, the initiators of this sale are madrid

Real Madrid's Negredo To Go, But Not To Italy - Agent

Real Madrid may want some homegrown players in their ranks, but another of their youngsters is to be sold...

Alvaro Negredo's dream of earning a place at Real Madrid appears to be over after his agent revealed that he was certain to be sold this summer, although not to Italy.

Reports have linked the 23-year-old striker to Roma and other Serie A outfits, but Michele Capasso has revealed that only teams from Spain and England have made contact.

Madrid have a litany of strikers and Negredo is surplus to requirements and will be offered to clubs on a permanent basis, rather than for another loan spell.

"I confirm that Real intend to sell the player, I cannot see a loan agreement occurring," Capasso told Italian reporters.

"Among the other bids for my client out there, there are English and Spanish clubs. But clubs in Italy, including Roma, have never expressed any interest."

Madrid re-signed Negredo from Almeria after he had impressed last term and hinted that he could challenge for a place in the new-look squad.

But with the arrival of Karim Benzema to challenge for a place along with Ruud van Nistelrooy, Gonzalo Higuain and Raul, Los Merengues want to cash in on his talent.

man he said 1000 times he will leave cause he needs more minutes than what we can offer there is no point being sad.. wish him good luck

actually negredo has been saying, that he would love to stay. but he would also have to think about getting minutes (which is only logical). should it be impossible to get these minutes at madrid, he would have to think about leaving (also logical).

however, that's quite a diffrence from, i WILL LEAVE because i need minutes. what his agent says is, that the club doesn't want him to stay. instead, they rather cash in on him. THAT is what makes me sad, the little to none effort at all by madrid.

given, without knowing what went on behind the scenes!!!
