No it means pot-kettle - black

10 Million Euro is Canales release clause which goes 5 Million for Racing & 5 Million for Depor a very reasonable price for the hottest player in the Spanish liga

But the pot knows it's black and is perfectly entitled to identify the kettle as such.

See, why does Chygrynskiy have to come into play? He played more than 10 hours, he even won the UEFA Cup being one of the better performers and in the supercup pretty much neutralised a lot of our attack. If you then want that particular from a team that isn't pleased with money ...... yeah. Did I compare the kid to the overpaying of Benzema? No, so stop reacting like a child sometimes. Oh, and not that I condone the transfer fee of Chygrynskiy by the way.

I couldn't give a rat's ass who is having the rights (as you don't seem to care where Chygrynskiy comes from) and why you have to pay 10 million to get him. I do really want to know why you want to pay that 10 mil for him.

Chygrynskiy had at least something to show in the previous years, just like Benzema to a certain extent. They played a lot with their team and they accomplished something over the period of at least a season. You know, like all the other big money transfers.

This Canalas guy plays some minutes and scores two beautiful goals versus Sevilla and against Espanyol (those are the ones I have seen live) with Racing. The press is all over him (just like what happened with Muniain) and it seems he is FREE AGENT. But why 10 mil? You don't think that is a ridiculous amount of money for the things he has shown?

And again, because I see Abandon is lurking in this thread, this could very well be a nasty good footballer. But 10 million is a helluva lot of money for such a youngster, regardless where hsi rights are. Real is the one that has to pay.

If Shaggy dog is the problem , how about 17 Million Caceres ? what did he accomplish ?
we want to pay 10 Million for him cause
1- it's his release clause (if you bothered to read before making just another pointless sarcastic comment )
2- it's his value in our scouts & management eyes
3- excellent investment like Higuain
And yes when u discuss the transfer fee than who owns what comes into play normally

See, but EVERYONE agrees on this forum that Caceres was way to expensive. Why bringing that up? If anything, it even makes your case harder.

No, I say and some others here say it is an expensive transfer fee with some risks involved. You get cranky cause we are pissing on the new Madrid posterboy and feel the compelling need to compare it to Barcelona's transfer fee, who we all think are too expensive. Eh????

So the first and last sentence can be erased, just like #1.

My question was why you would want to pay 10 mil (and not why you pay ten mil cause you have said it about those reg rights long before today, so instead of accusing me of sarcastic comments you should read properly :p) which would be answered by 2 and 3. 3) See, while Barcelona is all failed transfer caceres this and Shagmisskeylosertransfer fee that, Madrid is all cool Higuain policy. Tipping the balance like in your previous posts so again, bit subversive to the truth of both clubs' transfers and not even relevant.

2) aha, finally. Based on what? It could very well be that he is worth ten million (don't believe Jatin, he is just in love with this player cause he is young and looks handsome) but so far, I haven't really seen anything from him except his goals. If he is on the pitch that is.

Hence: I think 10 million euro is a large amount of money in which could possibly be a very risky affair. Therefore I asked why Real would want him for that price. I personally can't find a reason except he scored and captured the attention of the press. But hey, i'm not a scout.

1- a player release clause is his value if you want to buy him .. that's why they make a release clause you know , it is also Racing evaluation of their , it's not why you want him at that price -it's how much for this player.. it's like we offered 100 K and they will accept
2- based on monitoring the player for the last couple of games and his consistency (proven ) and the fact that Barca , Chelsea & Arsenal are all in demand for him

10 Million is nothing in the transfer market you don't buy anything half/decent with that amount so thinking 10 Mil is a large amount is very hypocritical from your side especially that a day ago he was a Barca target , i guess if you managed to buy him it would be a shrewed piece of business ;) .

And from the above you would know why your post was ridiculed by me , especially when you are tone of writing is looking down on the move while i didn't see you say anything when Barca made those brilliant transfer
everyone agrees now but back than it was "awe /great " ..etc

If it was about scoring there is a long list of better scorers it's about his potential 101 scouting *available in every bookshop* not his current ability .
I personally said my opinion about him (could be a big fish in a small pond ) but for 10 Mil i'd take him with my eyes closed cause neither Barca-Real..etc can buy a good prospect with that amount and may i remind you that Higuain who came from another league and was unproven par 2 goals in the super classico cost us 13 Mil 4 years ago

I still don't think anyone here really loves 25 mil for Chygrynskiy. I understand why he had to cost 25, but we wanted to pay that? Not yet. I wasn't looking down on the move as well, just like I didn't with Chygrynskiy's if you wish to compare. Only the money issabit gigantic. But Chygrynskiy can at least provide something and it was clearly Pep driven, even before he won the UEFA Cup. So it is different than Canales, who just seems wanted because everyone is on it.

Yeah, but Higuain banged already 15 goals and 16 assists in 33 games (!!!), again totally different numbers than Canales. If you do that in 30+ games (spread over two seasons, this is my analysis of stats, I haven't seen higuain play prior to madrid) then it is more than a hype like what is happening now with Canales and Muniain.

As for the Barcelona involvement: It could be a nice player but 10 million is too much. I didn't even know we wanted him after he signed a new contract. I just thought every eagle was there to pick up a possible free transfer. That is exactly why he got all that fuzz imo, he was a free agent.

So, I was and am shocked by the size of the transfer fee and I still do very much think that Real want young Spanish talent which their academy at this point doesn't deliver apparently.

good news with regards to the injuries...xabi alonso is back in training again and fit to play!!!

Real Madrid will apply for De La Red deregistration from the LFP , based on Marca report the disability assessment team will evaluate De La Red medical record and if proven he is disabled from the ability to play football his big salary will be shrunk to 1500 Euro a month .
according to the report De La Red intends to fight the decision as if prevent him from playing football again in the LFP competition , the young midfielder hope to be able to play football again and till now there isn't a valid explanation for his illness .

De La Red heart condition remain a mystery unsolved by the 100 doctors who checked his case , the captains constantly send support message to Ruben and aren't happy with the situation .

i can't help but feel this isn't exactly the nicest way to treat ruben that real have choosen to take.

Another point is that Canales will be a mainstay in the Racing team next season and will thus develop his game further.

I mean if it doesn't work out they could sell him on again for £5m or so and only make a minimal loss, so the benefits definitely outweighs the negatives for Real in this deal.

In Lucho we trust!
What a disgrace Madrid are with the way they are treating De La Red. Raul and the other usual suspects are refusing to sign the same agreement that Perez is trying to get Ruben to sign. No shame at all.

Official announcement
Real Madrid CF wishes to inform of the following:

1.-As a football club, Real Madrid and all its players with an employment contract are subjected to the current employment legislation.

2.-When the player Ruben de la Red suffered from a severe stroke, he was awarded sick leave by the Social Security, as usually applied. That is when the Temporal Incapacity period started, which lasts for 15 months and is still valid as of today.

3.-The player's sick leave was processed as a labour accident, given that the stroke took place as the player was practicing his profession as a football player. And, as is the case with every worker in Spain, the country's Mutua Patronal de Accidentes de Trabajo (Labour Accidents Employer's Society) took upon itself (as a delegate of the Social Security), to monitor the Temporal Incapacity period.

4.-Once a year of Temporal Incapacity has gone by, according to the Social Security Law it is possible for the Society to issue a report regarding the possibility to extend the Temporal Incapacity period to a maximum of 18 months, or to begin an inquiry for disability because it considers the medical perspective doesn't allow for the player to be cured in said period of time.

5.-This administrative process is regulated by Law and managed by the Public Administration. It is compulsory for the employing company to see it through. Real Madrid is the employing company in this case and isn't part of the entire process, but awaits the report that the Society must issue eventually.

6.-The Club has complied at all times with the Law and with all the contractual obligations it has with the player.

7.-Real Madrid has always been available to serve the player in whatever he may need and once again wishes to express its support and solidarity towards him.

I had written a nice riposte to beast regarding the canales fee but then I saw that gneg had dealt with that admirably. so... good job, gneg!

In all fairness however tragic DLR's case may be the club can't be expected to pay him indefinitely.

no, but if he still believes there's a chance he can play again then they should stick with him. it should be HIS decision to call it a day, not the clubs.

how long was gabi out for? did we EVER lose faith in him? de-register him? all we ever did was move him from #3 to #18 which was his request anyway!

it's pathetic, tbh, and if we did the same I would be embarrassed.
