Somethings are just not meant to be, there is no CL win without any luck, we had none. Cris decided to play the best two games of lives, and somehow, some way, Lyon's team functioned.

They won the duel, fair play. 250 million down the drain and a La Liga win will not make this season a success.

It is what it is...I will plan something to do in the summer to avoid the summer transfer rumors shit all over again. Come September, this team will still have the same quality players, and i hope some of the expensive signings either get in shape or booted out.

Kaka position is really a dilemma , he played well in this position in some game and he played bad in the same position in many games .
I believe Kaka need to be slammed more than putting him into the right formation
he had 2 good chances to do something last night more importantly the pass from CR when Kaka had a clear view shot from the edge of the area on Lloris goal and he slammed it away from the post

I think a large factor of his underperformance is the fact that he never really wanted to leave meelan. I think he was pushed out to save the club from financial trouble, and while he is trying to motivate himself for real I think a combination of being firmly the #2 signing, having won everything (altho he didn't earn his WC medal) and having been forced out of meelan have just got him in a funk.

He was also very angry last night when Raul subbed him(reported in the press ) and there is a current problem with Kaka communication director who wrote on his twitter that "only a coward manager would blame a player and not take the responsibility " in reference to Pellegrini which is strange considering Manuel never spoke bad about any of his players he just bench them for good .

As for Benzema i kinda agree with you and that's what i was telling Nandor , especially that when he played in Lyon in the last 15 min he caused more danger so i'm inclined to give the lad a chance , competition is always healthy in the striker department

exactly. the poor lad has really not been given much of a chance.

I really think he could be your rooney if given the chance. higuain is too much of a goalscorer to be the type of partner that will make CR dominate big games as he did for united. the chance where he shot instead of squared it to CR was such a perfect example.

so while Laporta tried to pass Eto'o as a zero value in the accounts for both clubs he is worth something , i was watching Ibra introduction on Barca TV (through the Jazeera sports channel ) and the Barca broadcaster did mention Eto'o value as 20 Million

so when U add Eto'o + 49 Million for Ibra plus the Shag-Miss-key,Maxwell house and K9 you will reach the 116 (did it matter those 4 Mil ? )
it's the biggest ever spending spree by Barca in their history

You count all of your sells in your favour but still u calculate Eto'o in the Zlatan deal as money. Surely you can see it as though Eto'o was sold for about 20 m and then Zlatan bought for 50. That's how you got to think of it when you compare it with your transfers considering the fact that swap deals are quite extrodinary. At the end of the day it doesn't matter but I just wanted to point it out. It's called twisting statistics..You can always see what you want to see. But the fact remais, Eto'o left so that we could afford Zlatan just as robben left so u could afford cr9.

no it's not twisting stats , actually from what i understood from your post you are kinda trying to do this

Zlatan cost for Barca was Eto'o + 49 Million, right ? it wasn't a case of the money from Eto'o sale Plus 30 million for Ibra.. it was added to the 49 Million in cash
u didn't sell Eto'o for another team than completed the rest of Zlatan deal ..
we sold Robben for B Munich which had nothing to do with CR sale .
the money from Robben sale the club received , did you receive anything from Eto'o sale ?

No, you said we spend 116 while you don't take "Eto'o's" value from that while you do that for Real. It's unbalanced. It's not correct.


Using your numbers:
If we spend 116, then you spend 250.
If you spend 170, then we spend 96.
