Even than you cannot sack him cause a manager with a new team & new players require time for adaption and tactical construction
what you want is a video game scenario where your ideas is immediately applied by the team , in real life the idea is laughable
even Fabio Capello who is much greater and experienced than Manu took till December to start to get results and even in January we dropped so many points .

Im not arguing what I want, its what its expected of him from Florentino, Valdano and 95% of the fans. Personally, i understand perfectly, and agree with what you're saying. Given how Real works, however, the sensible thing to do (3 months ago) when real madrid was lacking the playstyle of a champions league contender and had signs of a champions league debacle during the knockout stage was to look for a manager who could provide the bandaid quick results real desperetly wanted.

Even capello, an experienced and extremely succesful coach, was thretened with a sack when Real was dropping points. If madrid had the patience it takes for a playstyle to settle in, we wouldn´t be having this conversation and Pelegrini´s job would not depend on champions league performance. This is not the case, and its aggravated by Barcelona's success in Peps first season as a profesional coach and the insane amount of money invested to get instant results.

There are papers that are dishonest and they invent news - I am not a part of this game, There are two things that certain people find hard to accept, one is that I only speak in press conferences, and two I don't go on TV shows.

With squad that Real have the should be able to preform at the highest level at all times regardless of what manager they have.
Honestly i don't see any difference to the way real played under Juande ramos the same direct style only now their looking 4 link up players more often which usually are Cristina and Kaka but the only problem is that some times the understanding is not there.Like agains't Lyon mid-week.Real continue to show that lack of midfield dominance which is needed to be able to win games convincingly, at times it as if the only person who's doing any work is Lass.

i'm completely with pellegrini on this..."in 6 years real have had 8 coaches and won only 2 trophies of 15 possibles".
IMO he is spot on. that squad has always been there during the past years, so i disagree that the squad alone means any coach would have to make them perform. but never has there been a coach given enough time to instill a system. the standarts in terms of success that real madrid and its supporters have cannot be achieved in short time. with the current european competitors such as barca, manu, chelsea, bayern, inter etc. you can't win the CL just like that...new coach, new players and let's get it on. see chelsea in the early abramovic days. it took them years in order to become a reference in europe (yet they haven't won the CL either). creating a team and an understanding (like you pointed out was missing during lyon game) within the team/system needs much more time than just a few months (till the lyon game) or than a whole season. it's just not possible to buy or expect the endproduct without the time of the working process. sacking pellegrini after lyon or at the end of the season would be like each time before: staring again at cero

player, even the likes of kaká, cristiano, messi etc...can't perform up to their potential when the players around them and the system of the team doesn't work. they can show you once in a while some of their magic, but they won't reach any sort of consistency as long as that problem still stands. needless to say, you won't win the CL by showing a little magic every once in a while.

Higuain dissapears during games once in a while, Kaka has been underperforming all year and Cristiano always chokes when his team needs him the most.

kaká will be there...his bad luck was that he got injured at a time when he started to feel comfortable. that injury threw his previous work back to cero in terms of adaption. it tokk zizou 6 months till he performed and as far as i remember, he did have to deal with an injury setback.

the main questions for me is, is the team worth waiting for. it is to me. are players like kaká, cristiano & xabi alonso (neither of them has been performing like they used to at their old clubs) worth waiting for. they are to me...benzema on the other hand is not worth waiting for IMO.

EDIT:

with regards to MARCA throwing around names for the summer transfer window, the latest have been jesus navas & codina.

MARCA claim jesus navas is seeking a move to real. while they further claim that real are monitoring the possibilty of activating codinas buy-back clause in order to replace dudek at the end of the season.

meanwhile MARCA got a clear message from their readers regarding their stupid campain to bring mourinho for pellegrini. 71% have voted against mourinho. on AS, 74% want pellegrini to stay.
a clear yes for pellegrini and also for some pacience IMO. madridistas seem to have faith in the current squad and coach.
