something we all see and claim.
Positive is that Koeman is saying we don't press as a unit or don't move enough...now, this is positive only for a while, if it doesn't start to change that would mean he only says certain thing rather than do, but at least it's better to hear than we were in control, we were good, we suffered a bit or we were lacking that last magical ball.
This will not change until the team is free from powerful veterans who have all the interest in the world to slow the game down, because, otherwise, they can't cope with the tempo physically. Guys like Messi, Pique, Busi. These guys are obsolete players in terms of reactions, speed, fitness state, and work rate, all vital elements today. All need to go, and then we will see a more energetic side, no doubt. Not necessarily better for a while (a longer or shorter while depending on who comes along in this difficult rebuilding project), but more hard-working, cohesive, and united.
I'm sure Koeman saw the problems that Messi poses for this team. But whether or not he has the guts, the power, and the will to go all the way remains to be seen. I am doubtful.
Also, how can he lament the lack of movement and energy, and still ignore Puig is a mystery. If that young lad is known for something other than his weak physique in this team it's for his quickness, pure energy, and non-stop willingness to participate and speed up the game. How can you ignore that when those things are missing so much it's still a mystery he will have to account for at some point.
