Now tell me how great Pirlo is doing in the Serie A ?
Overall, he's been doing better than big experience manager Koeman.

Mate the only reason Koeman got appointed was because he has the Barca DNA.
He has no Barca DNA lol. His style can be found in a dozen EPL managers.
Edited my post ( clarified what I meant by Barca DNA)
If you make a list of managers at top 10 teams, you'll find that in the majority of cases, the manager had some ties with the club. It's perfectly normal, and not at all specific to Barca.
Tata Martino had no ties with Barca.
Quique Setien had no ties to Barca.
The brain rot is actually hilarious to see. Acts like we're talking about any nation when we're talking about "European experience", including near East nations that happen to be in UEFA. Acts like when we're talking about "European experience", as if we're simply talking about having managed in Europe rather than having recently managed in Europe AND achieved high results. Acts like our POV supported Koeman, when he damn well knows I was against Koeman's appointment for the exact same reasons I am against Xavi's appointment. Making bad faith arguments just so he can make Xavi's appointment look like a rational decision. Literal brain rot.
You know damn well we're not saying we should get Sam Allydyrce's simply because he's managed in Europe. You know damn well we're not talking about potential managers in azerbaijan. You know damn well that's not the argument. What's up with the bad faith? Argue properly, or just don't respond.
The hilarious thing is, no one's (at least I'm not) hating on Xavi. I just don't think we should appoint him now simply because he's a club legend, and because Zidane worked. That instead, we should perhaps go for attainable managers with a recent history of managing for top clubs in Europe and achieving high results with consistent high level performances.
I wasn't talking about ANY manager (so not Koeman) in ANY country (so not azerbaijan) in Europe, but specifically managers managing in the best leagues in European football. No one here or any other football fan forum means ANY country in Europe when they're talking about "European experience." But you instead acted like I was so you can have your gotcha moment and stroke your ego instead of addressing the points. Like I said, Barca DNA brain rot.
What have likes of Tuchel or Nagglesman done to be seen as top coaches?
Xavi is the obvious choice to give a chance to dur to his understanding of the club and how he wants game to be played.
There is not the clamour of top coaches to move to Spain and coach Barca anyway would be my guess and outwith Pep/Klopp not sure who would be seen as very top anyway.
Top proven coaches chose jobs wisely and now nor past few years would not be a good time for any of them to arrived.... and most want to be in EPL if can get there.
It depends on what your expectations are:
If it's between Xavi and an established name like Pochettino (no longer available but using him as a reference point), then I'd say give Xavi a try for a year or two. His upside might be somewhere in the ballpark of Pep (not quite obviously as Pep also had a legendary roster) and his downside might be Koeman level. To me, that sort of upside-downside dynamic over a Pochettino Barca that would maybe win 1 out of 3 LL on average (be on equal footing with RM and AM) and not win CL would be worth it.
Pochettino is a good manager but not a great one. If we want to sit on top of Europe again at some point, we need either a great manager + good players or a good manager + great/legendary players...I don't see the latter happening but we do have some good players who under a great manager could make some noise.
