Ronald Koeman

Let's hope former CL winner and CL final scorer Ronald Koeman, a former student of the Great Johan Cruyff, the favorite manager of voodoo master Romelu Lukaku, the none other than central figure of Der Koelt, carries us to another win vs Sevilla.

It's great to see Barca with a fighting spirit. Haven't seen that since Lucho.

Hopefully Koeman can get his signing this summer. He needs a #9 no doubt. Will also get Garca and Gini, which would help a lot.

And I would add to fighting spirit: the players look genuinely happy when they score goals. We haven't seen real happiness in a long time.

That is why I have been rating him so highly. You can clearly tell the development of so many players. Markings of a great coach. I think next-up in line are Trincao and Puig. Trincao has been playing better and Puig is likely to improve his game as well..

Is it happening?

People were bad mouthing him before he even took charge. When he had that rough beginning people calling him cowman and such.
He has really put alot of faith in the young players and it is paying off.
Contrast that with Shitverde who was all about the short term.
This is why you need a big personality at a big club.

?

Shit start ruined our season.

He's switched to a 433 from 4231.

This is on him why we are so behind and he was criticised rightfully so.

He thought that 4231 was the best for the personnel we have. It's also his favorite formation. He had to give it some time to see if it worked. It didn't so he changed it. Beyond that the team looks sooo much better in terms of motivation and physical condition. Light years away from Shitverde and Setien. It's been some time since I've enjoyed watching Bar?a play. I hope we can keep it up and solve our off field problems too.

Exaggerated comment. Players developed over time, new players integrated, found a better role for Frenkie and Messi stopped being a disaster.

I still blame him for the defense, even if we don't have WC players available in that position. and we don't need this to a have a decent defense

The start of the season was rough and then the attack took off ... but again isn't that a Messi effect too ?

Anyway one of a manger's main roles is motivate the troops & he is doing a very good job as i can see.

Still think of Koeman as a transition manager more than anything else, maybe he will be able to flip his career with us.

With Lenglet giving away 1 goal every other game for a couple of weeks, it is natural our defense sucked. It wasn't that bad as far as organization is conserned.
Moreover, we have collected about the same points as last season at the same point in the season.
