While the results have become good only recently, I did not expect the quality of our attacking football to be this good under Koeman from the get-go, thought of him as a bland manager tbh. However, we are easily creating loads of chances in almost every game and it's simply fun to look at. If things go on like this, he definitely deserves a second season.

His decision about Suarez was 100% a fuck up, I'm pretty sure it was Barto and Koeman had no balls to say no to him.

It wasnt a fuck up. Barca needed to move on from Messi/Suarez as wasnt working as part of team unit at all.

Suarez now is playing in a two has other players to run for him and can concentrate on nothing else than getting in box to score goals. Was never getting that at Barca and it had long past its best.

Well that's the problems with this theory

1.He is not only scoring goals, he is cracking defense and always fighting them and AM midfielders are having a good time with that as he can always push at least two players back.
2.Messi/Suarez Will work anytime anywhere with a freaking good manager.
3.Saying Suarez is past his prime which completely true, but WHO IS BETTER goal scorer than him in our squad bar Messi ?
4.He is a no brain starter now for Simeone

It's a thing to say something is not 100% suitable for particular schema and i need to move on, but replacing it with worse is not a solution.

No it is not a 'problem with this theory'.

Suarez plays in a way he never would at Barca and is only older legs being covered for by others.

It was done with Messi and Suarez together the lack of legs with both being players that play in high risk way was finished.

None of those points are relevant.

FDJ, Pedri, Dembele, Griezmann none of them would be playing the way have been allowed to and improve. Even Messi wouldnt play the same role as a false nine with freedom to move.

Exactly. Old legs upfront was a huge problem. Bayern had no problem sitting so high because Suarez or Messi will never cause problem counter attacking because they were too slow. Lack of speed or work rate hurt the team A LOT.

Also Messi and Suarez brought nothing when it comes to pressing the opponent. That hurts your defense.

With Suarez instead of Griez, we would leak even more chances. Cannot afford to have both him and Messi on the pitch. Regarding our poor defense, it has to do with Busi and the CBs, not with the forward line as even Messi is pressing a lot this season.

Anyway, we have not even lost with Araujo on the pitch this season in La Liga, so our defensive problems are exaggerated. Just need one more good CB and a Busi replacement.
