Should have brought somebody from Barca B for CB. It is not legal or something? I think somebody said Mingueza wasn't even a clear starter at Barca B and he's easily better than Umtiti. Surely some guy from Barca B would do better than this finished clown.

Players need a rest have to take a risk and rest as many as possible v Alaves.
There are just too many clear gaps of quality in the squad.

Game against PSG will be like the game today. Two even teams but we have huge problem with our CBs and have to hope for a decent performance no matter who plays there.
There is not much Koeman can do. His approach for the game was right and making subs or don't in such games is 50/50 when you only have two options on the bench who are not guaranteeing you an improvement.
We have Busi without a better option, and a back line without better options because everyone is injured. Coach can't do shit here, no matter if Koeman or someone else.

Subs guarantee you fresher legs. You still do them based on this reasoning. Fresh players are better than tired players. So, 40m. signing Trincao is not an option but Luke De Jong was?

What a depressing season. I thought we were starting to get into a decent groove and Araujo gets injured.

I think they are struggling to find CB as first team
IIRC the best 2 CBs are Ramos Mingo and Igor, both who had a serious injuries.
Mingo was actually ahead of Mingueza in first Liga games Iirc?
Mika M?rmol is now the starting CB for B team, and he is a LB.

As I said 50/50.
The tired attacking trio we had is as capable scoring a goal there as Trincao is.
De Jong is a proven player for Sevilla, started plenty of games for them. And has nothing to do with our subs anyway. This is about Koeman's decisions (who would probably play a player like Luuk de Jong regularly if we had him)
