Koeman: "Substitutions? The team was very good and there were no reasons to change. I held on until the end because I didn't see the team very tired and we pressed well in the second half. I'm happy with the work, there was no need to change."

Yea, can't agree with that... We were neither very good, nor pressed well, and there was a need for changes.

The season will be officially over in the beginning of March. Can't remember the last time this happened. :( Moreover, I don't think that Koeman is the man to blame. FFS he couldn't even get Garcia for 3 mil. This is the true legacy of Bartomeu.

People here are either blind or just haters. Look at our bench yesterday: Puig, Lenglet, Trincao, Matheus, Moriba, Inaki, Collado, Conrad. The only player that should have played from the start is Lenglet but let's remember how bad was he during the last couple of months. No one would have better results with this team! Absolutely no one. Not even Pep or Klopp.

You people need to be more realistic and acknowledge that this team without Messi is on the level of Betis or Valencia. What's even worse is the fact that it might even become uglier before it gets better again. Whoever wins the elections in March will need time. Even if everything is done perfectly, and young players avoid serious injuries it will take 2 or 3 years to compete on the highest level once again.

Blind spot is still thinking Busquets can play as a sole DM and made worse when thinking can play there with CBs like Umtiti behind him.

Needs to protect the defence more for PSG and until injuries ease up. Has to be FDJ sole DM or with Pedri in a deeper two.

But it will be Busquets playing again. Jogging about the pitch out of position leaving gaps and getting caught on ball trying to win fouls. It has hot to point he is so limited he cheats on and off the ball to try and save himself being exposed physically.

Fact is that he wanted a CB, a RB, a C(D)M and #9 last summer. He only got Dest. He was right about the rest of the positions. Every game, especially against better teams, is prove of it. Pjanic (a new signing :banghead:) looks even more finished than soon to be 33yo Busquets, who himself is overwhelmed with his task on an elite level since Roma 2k18.

Yes, Pjanic is really hurting us. He adds nothing to this team and he was signed to be a starter. Bartos leaving present.

Exactly.

The fact that we are in the top four makes me happy. I honestly thought at the beginning of the season that we wouldn't make cl.
Koeman has done a fine job so far. He has played and developed youngsters, the team is better physically and mentally. The club is a fucking mess in all aspects and none of it is his fault. We don't even have a president ffs.
There is no manager in the world who can do better in the current circumstances.
