If we are going to be ruthless with players.. It's only right we be ruthless with the coaching stuff and the upstairs management. Time to go koeman.. Thanks for your service.

We move

Be ruthless with a plan no some moronic move to tell coach they may keep job if no one better found and dont talk about medical issues etc.

There is no plan whatsoever at this point other than wing a campaign and then try to find jobs for anyone that supported you.

It's a tactic in my opinion to avoid the pay out (koeman resigns or mutual consent) . Had it not been for that payout he would have had the sac already

If it's a tactic, then obviously Laporta lies that he has a straight-forward and open relationship with Koeman.

No matter how you twist it around (the anti-Koeman camp here), Laporta made a big mess, he disrespected a Barca legend, and ridiculed the club.
He could have handled everything in a totally different way.

End of story

You seem not to like someone disagreeing with you, just saying. In the Alaba thread you called someone who had an opinion other than yours a (troll), and here you are saying (end of story) as if there is no other way to look at things.

We aren't being ruthless with players. We have always been more ruthless with coaches than players. The amigos are here, nothing is changing next season. In fact amigo group increased with Aguero

We will see how ruthless Laporta is in the next 2 months. It feels like people forgot that the transfer window hasn't even opened yet. Roberto already got his dose of reality if reports are to be believed.

Yes this is the way to do it.
I am not blindly trusting Laporta, but so far so good. Let's see how it looks before the season starts, and even more - before next season starts.

Koeman is a Barca legend and deserves respect. How quickly people forget the past. That iconic free kick won us our first cl and we finally broke through the glass ceiling. Before that clubs like Celtic, Benfica, Villa and Forrest had more European wins than us.
I can understand if you want to get rid of Koeman and get your own man n but do it with some class.
This was tacky and classless.
Could have settled with Koeman on a lesser payout over a longer time.
Honestly Laporta has disappointed me. The pressure is on and he's struggling. His press conference seemed alot of hot air. It's like one of those bland corporate emails you receive at the office with no substance.

Imagine: I want to marry you, but I have doubts. Give me two weeks to find a better partner. If I can’t find the right person, we will get married anyway!"

Haha. Koemans agency's response. Very true.

How? Laporta isn't the one who married him here or wanted to do so.

Dumb analogy by his agent.

While I think Laporta did fuck up here and probably should waited longer to meet up with Koeman it's funny how him being honest and transparent with him is what caused this. Straight up told him he wasn't his preferred manager.

I'm certain that Nagelsmann would already have been announced as Barca manager had Flick not left Bayern. All that probably messed up their plans.

Yes, OK he's not the one you wanted. Fine. Just get rid of him. Why is Laporta beating around the bush?

Laporta. "There are no transition seasons at Barcelona".
He must have some memory loss. How many trophies did we win in Rijkaards first season? At one point we were, 18 place in the league and kod by Celtic in Uefa cup from memory.

This relationship was never going to work unless Koeman produced irreproachable results, which did not happen. Simple politics at play. Koeman is the previous regime's man, so Laporta isn't willing to give him a long leash.

Now have some class and sack the man instead of tacitly smearing him through the press. We will make well over 7m this summer through player sales so the compensation should not be an issue.

As for Laporta I think he's trying figure it all out on the fly and making things up as he goes. Rode to an easy election victory though name recognition and nostalgia and reckon he did not have a serious sporting or economic plan before assuming the presidency. Hope he can get his head above water soon.

Fancy words make you look smart .. record of achievements makes Laporta look smart. He did not start yet give him time
