He can bench all the veterans and play only youngsters.
With that move, the problem would be solved one way or another, either they sack Koeman, or the amigos start respecting him.

He had the chance to do it this season, but always returned to play the seniors. Heck he wanted Pedri gone on loan because he was obsessed with making Coutinho an integral part of his system.
Koeman is a mediocre manager. Always has been.
I don't know if there was an option to sell Coutinho last summer, but even if there was, Koeman was not going to let him leave. He called the man right after Bayern won the CL to tell him he was going to be a very important player for him.
Not sure what version of Barca have you seen this year, but the one I saw had Fati as a starter then later on had Pedri, Mingueza and Arujo as starters with Moriba as a regular playing sub. I have dreamt of this for years since EV took over and could have asked for more tbh when it comes to involving the youngsters. As for Puig, he is garbage.
It's not acceptable to have transition period for Barca specially with Messi. Win trophies or GTFO, transition excuse is for loser.

I think he would shake things up and bring something new. The tradiontal 433 requires young, technical players who will press non stop. We don't have that. At least we should evolve.
Laporta wants attacking football but we currently don't have the right elements to play Cruyff /Pep ball.
Anytime we attack all out we get exposed badly at the back.

Is it really though? Losing in embarrassing fashion later is worse imo. Everyone forgets group stage quickly.
For example. Liverpool will always play the semifinal come back in videos, forever. Would they do that with group stage matches? Doubt it. Liverpool match will go down as one of the worst performances in the CL history.
