Louis van Gaal was the last world-class manager we have had. Was appointed in 2002. Since then:

- Radomir Antic
- Frank Rijkaard
- Pep Guardiola
- Tito Vilanova
- Gerardo Martino
- Luis Enrique
- Ernesto Valverde
- Quique Setien
- Ronald Koeman

You mean regarded as World Class at the time of appointment?

Tough to see that changing anytime soon.

Never say never, but have a hard time seeing Klopp being interested in the politics that surround Barca and Real Madrid. If anything I think he's more likely to go to Atletico Madrid.

We're in a tough spot if Koeman doesn't do enough to warrant a contract extension.

Koeman should have walked at the end of the season. He should have asked for his wages and pulled the plug. He was treated very poorly by Laporta. I don't rate Koeman much as a manager but he does have certain good qualities. His best quality is love for the club. 90% of other managers would have walked out of this shitshow.
Look at Pep. He wouldn't touch Barca with a barge pole.

pep knows the inner workings of the club and how the catalan media(controlled by guys like rosell or barto) treated him and basically made him leave. we have been through this many times in this club's history and we never learn.

koeman is just a mediocre coach brought in by barto to be his lap dog. there is nothing to praise him for.

He is at best an average coach so it's a job he will never have again.

After FCB he will be back to the dutch league or MLS/Qatar

The golden generation was more responsible than Pep for the CLs. Which is why Pep hasn't won the CL outside Barcelona yet.

Luis Enrique?
Look at Arsenal, they are just an unlucky version of us. Our next manager should 100% be a world-class one.
