Can anyone explain to me why people dislike Rosell so much? Some people say he just doesn't get what Barca is all about. Is this true.

There is NOTHING wrong with him, he's been excellent at negotiating great deals for players that should have cost a lot more. People are still butthurt about the shirt sponsor, he's been an excellent president so far. Perhaps appointing Tito is turning out to maybe not be the best decision, but at the time we all thought it was a good one and he could still turn it around.

One of the few advantages of Rosell, former Nike exec in Brasil, which no doubt facilitated this transfer...along with the undoubtedly the player's desire to play with Leo & Barcelona's style of football

He definitely got this deal done. His next step is to get us a World Class CB and we're ready for another run.

I'm excited.

Hate on Rossell is ridiculous around here. Just a couple of years ago everyone wanted Laporta to go and bring Rossell and all of the sudden Rossell is crap. He is good president, we don't splash big bucks for players and Barca is growing every year in terms of revenue. What else do you expect of president ? He can't bring football success, that's the manager's and players job.

we have no problem with rosell.Actually he is great at negotiation for barca no doubt at that but due to all of his not giving more money for transfer, all of our transfer saga become soap opera instead of smooth one.problem is barca's image is getting tarnished due to that.He make player's himself come out and say I want to transfer to barca which is not good for long term relation with other clubs.

Second thing is his ego problem, although whatever he has issue with cruyff, but he damaged club's image with one of its legends.

We also dont know what made Pep leave,I mean due to stress or due to pressure from rosell like chygy saga where pep came out publicly to support chygy.

And we lost txiki &some of great laporta's backroom staff.I mean he could have stop them or encourage them to stay.I mean you all agree txiki is wayyyyyyyyyyy better than Zubi.He got great connection & healthy pair of nuts to take tough decisions compare to Zubi.tixiki's decision making capability is out of question.

That'd be rewriting history. Hate has been strong since the book. That made him look like a petty person, who cares more about his ego than the club. Going on a personal vendetta lovebarca after his appointment to get rid of everything smelling even a bit like Laporta - Cruyff as the comical opening and Óscar García, Dalai Lama and others in a subtler way - hasn't helped that image. Then when pimping out the jersey, he seemed to have other loyalties which went before trying to get the best price. As far as success during his era, I only blame him for appointing Zubi, but other than that, he has serious problems with his priorities.

I think it comes to something like 54 million. 28 or so to Santos and the rest to the other parties

The investment groups that own a part of Neymar's rights allegedly confirmed that the 28 mil is the full fee and that they get their share out of it (about 10 mil).

if figures r right, FCB will pay €25m to Santos, but also 9 to agents,10 prepayment, 10 to third parties.

This is what Guillem Balague posted on twitter

Guillem Balague doesn't know shit about what's going on in Barcelona, let alone Brazil. Balague is an anti-Barcelona journalist, it's politics. Media in Brazil have almost unanimously said that 25-28 mil is the entire fee. Plus the two friendlies.

EDIT: maybe saying he's anti-Barcelona is a bit too much, but anyways, he's not an insider and he knows less then the fellas in Brazil
