Well, the season is basically over. Barça B can't get promoted anymore and they are also clear of relegation. So IF it had to happen, it's possibly the best time. He'll be fully recovered and prepared to start preseason, whether with our first team or on loan at another team.

the likelihood that we'll sign both a starting center back, Denis Suarez, and Dani Alves staying, means that Roberto and Mascherano will likely be rotation players. Both obviously have tons to offer the team.

Whilst Masch hasn't actually played at DM much, Roberto will certainly be seen as a good option at DM when Busi's not playing and I imagine Masch will too. The minutes simply won't be there for Samp.
