We have a polar opposite situation with United.

They have a player, who thinks he is still the key player, while the coaching staff knows he's finished.

We have a player who knows he's finished, but the coaching staff still thinks he is a key player.

I dont want him to fail, but HE HAS failed on the pitch for half a decade now. Turning on him didnt happen one morning when I woke up. It's happened over years of him getting worse and worse, and being shockingly bad in major games in CL.

He always looked better than he was because he played along side Xavi and Iniesta. Once they started to get old, and left, everyone got to see him for what he actually is, and what he would of been playing for any team outside Barca during Xaviesta years- average.

All women want that. Very rarely you will see a woman of status(rich, famous) marry a poor schmuck, even if he looks good. Vice-versa it happens all the time. Rich guys falling in love with hairdressers, maids, flight attendants etc. And they also end up marrying them.
