Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

I don't want these current clowns to have any hand in a quick buying spree that will come (if) before the ban is finalized.

I'm quite confident that if we appeal, the final decision (and thus a possibly ban) will be postponed until after the window is closed. In Chelski's case, matters were much simpler (question of tapping-up and whether the player had a legitimate contract at the time when it happened etc) and the court still took 5 months (September - February) to make a decision. Thus we should have enough time.

Seems to me that the most likely outcome is that we appeal, and then the ban happens after the transfer window closes. Meaning we'll be able to buy players this window but not Winter 2015 and Summer 2015.

Anyways, sack the current board, move next summer's budget to this one, and then go all out. We need a good transfer window now more than ever, since whatever we have by the beginning of next season, we're probably stuck with for 2 seasons.

I actually think the most likely outcome is that the appeal will be accepted and we will be sanctioned with a proper fine.

Long time lurker here and this is my first post..

The club board is fucking toxic they need to go. If worst comes to worst it'll mean relying on homegrown Barca players more and it can't be worst than what happened to Juventus during the Calciopoli scandal

That would be the best case scenario, but I'd take mine over not being able to sign players this summer any day.

You clothe a slave/give them shelter/feed them/give them medicine, nothing is wrong and everything is fine?

Now I'm not saying these children are slaves, but you get the point and it's right what I'm saying. How Barcelona recruit children into La Masia is unethical/judged FIFA to be against the rules of sport and Barcelona have been punished for it and as said rightfully so.

Also, if you can't have a debate on a football forum without the use of insults the only clown is you.

A slave? Listen to yourself. You write clownish comments and then take exception for being called a clown.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Barcelona are not treating these kids and their family likes slaves/cattle. On the contrary, they are giving them better lives.

The violation stems from Barcelona bending the FIFA rules that prohibit the signing of foreign players under 16.

If you're going to criticize something at least have the fact right, otherwise you look foolish.

And your pathetic club uses fake sponsorship deals to bypass FFP. Guess theres nothing wrong about that but giving kids an education and chance to play football is akin to Satan worship

It is realistically discusting. That ancient fucker sucks up all the Qatari oil money in once and no one gives a shit. And now we're banned because we give youngsters a place to devolop.

The board should appeal and win this shit or we're fūkt. The main headache ( FARTomeo and his fuckin' clowns) will fix this or GTFO. Either way it is hideously fucked up news and sorry for the heavy language, I'm upset as fuck.

AH, Jayuk. Sour grapes because you got your asses handed to you in the Chl, after you and your fellow UK brethren had overhyped your team, eh? What happened to the "City is easily able to score two at the Camp Nou"? Didn't go too well for you, huh?

I don't think we'll need a quick panic-buying spree. Apparently the Chelsea case in 2010 was less complicated and still took 5 months. Meaning this one probably won't be over until after the transfer window closes, so we have the whole transfer window to buy players. Knowing our current board though, a quick panic-buying spree is probably exactly what will happen, whether there's any reason for it or not

The buying will need to be quick, lest FIFA corruption somehow comes to an appeal decision in record time.

Still, quick or normal, I don't want the current board to have any hand in the signings to come. They have repeatedly shown their incompetence and propensity for shady deals, and have had more than ample opportunity to let the team down. I don't want to give them yet another opportunity to do so.

There is also the issue of having a lame duck board making future changing decisions for the club. It is problematic to say the least.

I know exactly what the violation is and if you read my previous replies this is exactly what i'm talking about.

I give up :shakeshead:

I don't think the ter stegen will go through
They have banned already and there has been no official announcement of the deal is done between barca and the GK
would be a very difficult season for barca
as the squad is aging like xavi and dani alves and pinto
alves also doesn't have a contract extension offer yet
so it'd be totally difficult for them
for now Barca should do 2 things:
renew contract of dani alves and pinto for at least 1-2 seasons to keep the team alive
train the GKs even harder

According to FIFA sources, transfer deals that have already been agreed upon by Barcelona could go through despite the ban. [sport1]

As long as we can get Ter Stegen we should be fine in all areas except for defence again, so hopefully there will be a way to get atleast that one needed cb.
