Is this about the Korean kids like Lee? everyone was already complaining how he cant play for Barca was being harsh and now this ban comes on top of it.

Lee among others yes. Some other players with a ban are Patrick Sousia, Fode Fofana (signed last summer), Bobby Adekanye and Theo Chendri (turned 16 three months after, so not anymore).

Good it's about time, if other teams play by the rules you have to play by the rules, if you don't you should get punished and rightfully so.

Next one is Neymar, Barcelona should get punished for that.

Get the fuck out of here.

The best thing that can come of this initial ban is that it should be the final nail in the coffin of Rosell's board - we'll need new elections...I can't see this ban standing but more to the immediate point, what will it mean for Ter Stegen and Halilovic?...In particular, not getting a keeper would be a fate much worse were the ban to stand because we'd cope in every other aspect

Curious to see how this goes but yet another distraction for the club this season, notice how volatile each successive season of Rosell's tenure has become?

Players under 18 have to meet a certain criteria, this criteria is not saying going up to South American families (which Barcelona do a lot) or the vulnerable saying:-

'Play for us and have a better life'
'Play for us and we'll buy you an house'
'Play for us and we'll pay medical bills'
'Play for us and we'll give your child an education'

That's looking after no1 and treating human beings (children) as cattle/as pawns and looking at your academy as a factory conveyor belt, that is not sport.

So let me get this straight, giving people stuff like houses, food, medicine, education is treating them like cattle?

I wish Barcelona treated me like cattle!

GTFO clown!

Well I think the positive to take out of this is that it'll finally push those fools on the board out on their collective asses. What a disastrous mess they have made of managing this team.

If I were a Barcelona socio, I would call elections yesterday and get rid of all the stench of these morons. Then move to appeal to hold the process and reinforce my team before the final ban (if it happens) falls down.

I don't want these current clowns to have any hand in a quick buying spree that will come (if) before the ban is finalized.

Those deals should be fine - an appeal will give us enough time to finalise these and sign more players.

Two transfer windows != Two years.

1rst window being Summer 2014
2nd window being Winter 2014/2015

It means we wouldn't be able to sign a new player until Summer 2015

I don't think we'll need a quick panic-buying spree. Apparently the Chelsea case in 2010 was less complicated and still took 5 months. Meaning this one probably won't be over until after the transfer window closes, so we have the whole transfer window to buy players. Knowing our current board though, a quick panic-buying spree is probably exactly what will happen, whether there's any reason for it or not
