I know we cant always win titles, theres has to be dark years, evey team no matter how big it is goes through this cycle, but if we cant sign anyone, wouldnt that mean we'd be wasting prime years of some of our stars here by not signing key puzzles that could take us all the way?

No. We can win titles this year and the next year with exactly the same team as long as the players play as good as we know they can.

I'm guessing it will be overturned, Barca not having a good year off the pitch.

What's next? We find out they were on PED's during the glory years...

You guys should read the official FIFA statement on this crap.

In this respect, the Disciplinary Committee emphasised that the protection of minors in the context of international transfers is an important social and legal issue that concerns all stakeholders in football. Above all, the committee highlighted that while international transfers might, in specific cases, be favourable to a young player’s sporting career, they are very likely to be contrary to the best interests of the player as a minor. On the basis of this analysis, the committee concluded that “the interest in protecting the appropriate and healthy development of a minor as a whole must prevail over purely sporting interests.

So, Barcelona value the sporting interest over the healthy development of a player. What about the education which every youngster in La Masía gets? And that a player is dismissed if the results aren't sufficient?

The Disciplinary Committee underlined that FIFA takes the protection of minors in football very seriously. The protection of minors is one of the key principles included in the agreement concluded between FIFA, UEFA and the European Commission in 2001. The Disciplinary Committee acknowledged that young football players are vulnerable to exploitation and abuse in a foreign country without the proper controls. This particular fact makes the protection of minors in football by the sport’s governing bodies, especially by FIFA, even more important.

Proper controls? Who is doing these controls? It can't be the FIFA, as they have been alerted by an anonymous club. Also, why aren't you investigating other clubs, it is naive to think Barcelona would be the only one doing this. And what about the strange contracts for youngsters in the Balkan area? Do something about that if you really care about the protection of minors.

Everyone does it, which is why it is convenient and suspicious that they are targeting Barcelona alone. The timing is impeccable.

Fifa is a blackhole of corruption, but still Barça's management should be more careful...

And we can't forget blatter is a rm honorary member. I wouldn't doubt flo had something to do with it too.

But surely Lee wasn't worth all this trouble.

Barcelona is being punished for transfers between 2009-2013,because of breaching international transfer rules of under-18 players. but the current board is to blame, FIFA asked Barcelona for explanations since the beginning of 2013, club failed to do so. Punishment is a consequence of the board ineptness.
