Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

When the appeal is made although people think making deals should be a priority, many clubs will overprice their players and hold Barca to ransom as clubs know Braca will be desperate for players.

There will be a price over which we will not go I believe. We should also go for less obvious choices, they could prove to be the right ones. Our staff/board should treat this wisely for a change.

Which means he would be back just in time for the tough UCL games.

Not worth it. Besides it's a moot point since we can sign anyone during the appeal process. Rather have a healthy ter Stegen and go from there.

No team is 'clean' in football.

EXACTLY!!

Call me a conspiracy theorist but its strange that off late we have been under the pump from everyone. It seems that people just want to ruin the club. Off course it doesn't help that our Board has basically fallen on its sword with the Neymar case but still.......

Come on folks are you guys telling me all is pure and lilly white in the world of Bayern, City, Chelsea, PSG, Real etc....

Off course its not. Why doesn't FIFA probe all the players stolen from us or all the other dodgy stuff? How about an investigation into Bale's deal or the Etihad sponsorship with City?

I smell a rat here............

This is yet another distraction that our club could do without. I'd be surprised if we win anything at this rate. This season has been appalling in terms of injuries, off season dramas, non-transfers etc.

No. If we appeal, the ban is automatically delayed until a decision is made. Means we can, should and will spend until then.

And I'm quite confident our appeal would be accepted; we're obviously not the only offender and the ridiculously small fee suggests that the whole sanction is nonsensical.
Thanks. We should be fine then.

This is guaranteed. The ban can't be enforced during the appeal process. And this case is not solved over night. We'll have plenty of time to sign what we need.

So, let's count days then. 90 days for an appeal means a minimum of 90 days before the ban will be enforced. The expiration date for an appeal is the 1st of July.

Let's recap. First Neymargate (investigation probably still ongoing), then followed the Rossell chaos and departure, now this sanction.

Hopefully the players aren't affected by any of this. We need them to be on top of their game against Atletico Madrid next week, in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and it the title race. All this chaos could be a determining factor, but I hope not. Let's see.

This look serious. Signings of Ter Stegen and Hallalovic in doubt. From the article-

Young football players are vulnerable to exploitation and abuse in a foreign country without the proper controls. This particular fact makes the protection of minors in football by the sport's governing bodies, especially by Fifa, even more important."

The Spanish FA, which violated article 19 of the regulations regarding the first registration of the players, has been given a period of one year in to "regularise their regulatory framework and existing system concerning the international transfer of minors in football".

Fifa only allows international youth transfers when one of three situations apply: the player's parents have moved country for their own, non-related reasons; the move takes place within the European Union if a player is aged between 16 and 18; or the player's home is less than 50 kilometres from the national border being crossed.

Why only Barcelona? Chelsea,Arsenal, City they all get young players from foreign countries as well at a young age, why is Barca the only one to be made an example of.
I hope we can still get Ter Stegen and a cb during the appeal.

Good it's about time, if other teams play by the rules you have to play by the rules, if you don't you should get punished and rightfully so.

Next one is Neymar, Barcelona should get punished for that.
