one thing that does bother me is that Barca cant kill a game, we cant just close shop after scoring and chelsea it to the end nor can we play result based football and just get a good result when we lack keyplayers.
We are like an one punch ko type brawler with a glass chin.

Starting the game with such a weak defense and midfield Lucho showed how much he cares about the Super Cup. Liga is the priority, and he's absolutely right.

But of course the performance tonught was still totally embarassing.

We should been prepared for this. We knew years ago that the "patient midfielder" is nowhere near good enough. Adriano too. And guys like Grimaldo and Samper can't be worse than those two.

Yes, but that's hardly Lucho's fault, he's only been here since last summer. So even if he's the one insisting on keeping those players here, it's still not his fault.

1)Complacency and motivation shouldn't be a problem
2)Super Cup is a second rate trophy
3)It showed up guys like Roberto, Batra as pretenders. They are not good enough for Barca. They can play till Jan but should be moved on.
4)We need to sign. Been said plenty of times before but Bayern and Real have real squad depth. We can paper over the cracks with an injury but 2 or 3 exposes our team big time.
5)Lucho will have to forget the treble and concentrate on THIS season. He cant live off past glories and we've already had a bad start.
6)Maybe our stupid board we'll stop these far away summer tours. Fuck the revenue. We should play in Europe only.

Agreed. I guess he didn't plan for MAtS, Adriano and Dani to make such huge and ridiculous individual mistakes.

We need a top class cb. I've never been convinced by Masche and Mathieu & Vermalen are bench material-nothing else.

Batra has had his chances and now NOONE can complain about him not having enough minutes. He is NOT good enough and this has been a consistent issue with EVERY manager.

He is lazy and has not developed any speed or physical strength. His positioning used to be good but has become worse.

Ter Stegen is a great prospect but Bravo should be first choice in all competitions barring the Copa.
