They were against Timor-Leste, who respectfully, are among the worst teams in one of the worst footballing region in the world (I was going to say the worst but then I remembered the pacific islander countries).



He is definitely more than good enough to be a standout attacker at Barcelona B in La Segunda (like Gerry D and Adama were in their time) from the 2 games I watched of him this season. Does that accolade make him good enough for the first team? No, but it does make him a worthy enough to sign back and develop.

Another two goals for Kubo. I don't care what MD says today about a hitch in negotiations. Get this kid signed up, he will bring in more through marketing than the cost of his acquisition.

Unfortunately he is turning out to be another player who is so full of himself, IF we believe what MD is reporting. Sad to see him possibly joining Real Madrid or PSG, but there is not much we can do, even if we have the money to pay him.

For once, I don’t blame our board for this. He wants to go straight to the first team while we offered him one year at Barca B before promoting him to the first team. Way too soon to go straight to the first team from the Japanese League imo.

A shame to miss out on him. I don't think going from starter at the team top of the J-League to playing in Barcelona B in Segunda B would of been the right move. Not unless he got some kind of Vinicius projection which is impossible happen both under Valverde and being in Messi position. He is probably starting for Japan at the Copa America too.

If he ends at PSG then they will probably loan him like Timothy Weah and Eduoard for a year. Maybe even to the same club (Celtic) who have had a knack developing players like VVD, Moussa Dembele.

We could of done similarly to a LaLiga club.
