Everytime I watch Thiago in Liverpool or Bayern before I dream about him returning
If he isn't having success in England all the better, then he can be more easily bought.
Busquets-Puig-Thiago would be insane

He looks lost in high intensity and physical league. Loses balls for fun. He would fit Spain way better than PL. Maybe transitioning period, but either way.. not looking good.

Opponents are bullying him physically.

pretty sure that's just team form right now. Watch Liverpool bounce back at some point and Thiago get called a top 3 Premier League midfielder next year.

Bundesliga is a pretty physical league with intense counterpressing. He was fine there. Has to do with adapting to a different team, mainly. But I can see people pushing the "muh-muh PL the most physical league" narrative already.

Bundesliga playing for Bayern should be a scenario on its own. Bayern have that league wrapped around their little finger.

Top 3 Premier League midfielders? That's a major stretch. Highly unlikely. The league doesn't suit him at all.

he played in Bundesliga which is basically high line pressing galore, yes he can manage PL though he cant carry Liverpool at the moment.
If Trent or Mane joined Liverpool this season, people would also say they "struggle with the league". All Liverpool players look shite right now, even though that's practically the same squad that won CL and walked the league.

PL is 3 classes above Bundesliga , where Paco Alcacer was scoring like Lewa.

No way that Bundesliga is strong physicslly as PL.

PL is overrated. Of course it's the most popular league on the planet, in terms of football. The most popular, not the best. If foreign innovative managers like Mou, Pep and Klopp succeed in just few years there it proves the level is not that high.

It is the best and have good players worth watching at majority of teams as opposed to others which dont have all that much outside of top 3/4.

The top managers succeeding there doesnt prove any weakness.

Watch a La Liga game with two teams not in top 4/5 and the quality is terrible in comparison.

Premier League is vastly overrated here, it is a good league but nothing special and certainly isn't 3 classes above the Bundesliga. Paco is a good player who went on a good run but didn't last in the long term and Dortmund got rid of him. Bundesliga is a very physical league as well, arguably more so than the Premier League.

Thiago's problem is that his style is the opposite of Liverpool's and it hasn't clicked so far, it has nothing to do with the Premier League or the Bundesliga. He would excel at Man City just like he did at Bayern, he chose the wrong club.
