good game, although he should have dropped a little bit back in the 1st half when we struggled to play the ball out

Was great in 1st half and then kinda lost his groove. That shot that ht the bar and pass for Villa were magnificent.

Yeah, he faded completely in the second half, up to the point where I thought I had missed him being subbed off at some point. It's odd really, considering how much better we looked and how much more in control we were in the second half.

Thiago getting closer and closer to scoring! Last couple of games he's been in good areas for a goal. I hope he gets one soon!

Thiago is a future STAR!!!! Hell, he already is now and he's 21. Just image how he'll be when he's 25, Messi's age. :worthy:

I was telling a couple of friends of mine how I think Thiago will be a Ballon d'Or candidate in a few years time, they laughed in my face, they should just wait...

im sure that was peps dream but im also almost sure its not going to happen..sadly

Why not? Seems like the best lineup; Song alternating with Busquets (provided he gets into his groove), Fabregas with Iniesta/Thiago (the LW) and Iniesta going up occasionally so we can have Fabregas, Thiago, and Busquets in midfield.

By the way, I'm pretty sure Pep's dream would have something to do with Cesc being included in the midfield. I love Thiago, but Cesc is ahead of him now in terms of minutes played and integration, and will probably continue to hold his advantage in the coming years. I find it difficult to believe that when Xavi retires, our starting midfield will be Thiago/Iniesta/Busquets, with Cesc on the bench or wherever. Iniesta/Cesc/Busquets is what I see happening. I also find it likely to see a Thiago/Cesc/Busi combination in the far future. But Xavi does not look like he's anywhere near retiring, so our visions are subject to much change until that day comes.

I can't wait to see Tito play with Pep's Club World Cup with all creative lineup of :

Xavi - Busi - Thiago

Cesc - Messi - INIESTA
