You are right he is, anyway neither of them have learned how to control a game yet so for now neither are capable of replacing Xavi.

Yeah, Thiago is also attack minded but he really show he can control the game better than Cesc. Fabs is better at the "final" passes but when it comes to control the game in the middle he's too slow and gives away too much space.

messi was already the best in the world at this age while iniesta tbh was good until the season 08-09 when he start to show us his magic

I know which is precisely why Cesc and Thiago need to improve their game. It's important too that we have realistic expectations for both players. Xavi can never be replaced as such and it's unlikely that cesc or thiago will ever command the midfield as well as him.
