Thiago is potentially a world class player but that's the problem, he's been stuck at the ''potential'' stage for ages now. It's time he grows into his big man shoes and start showing what he's really capable of; players 3 years younger than him are already take Europe by storm and please don't give me the whole he doesn't get chances, only mediocre player need chances, great players impose themselves.

If we sell him with no buy back clause, that will piss me off. If we sell, we must have the buy back clause.

this I agree with. Look at cesc borke into arsenals first team at the age of 17 at the time the were epl champions. I don't think Thiago has taken his chances well and tito has not given many chances to make an impact. He should of gon to Arsenal when they were looking at him would of probably been a regular by now look at matta they were in the same compettion one is a regular the other a bench warmer, but instead signed a contract extention to get less minutes on the pitch.

I'm really sick of these Thiago rumors!
It doesn't make any sense to sell now, he's Xavi's successor!
buy-out clause is supposed to be 90M, now "rac1" claims that he could go for just 20M if he didn't play a certain amount of games!

...he is playing in a team that has xavi and iniesta, much like iniesta was playing in a team with deco and xavi when he was a similar age and mainly coming off the bench ...

Each environment and player is different, would gotzw be a starter at barca, no, would thiago be starting for durtmomd must likely.

Yup. No question Thiago would start on most teams other than Barça, where he's behind Xavi, Iniesta, (as well as Busquets and Messi [who is really another midfielder]), four of the top midfielders in the world. And, as part of the Barça system, he's been asked to play more of the deep Xavi moving pivot distributor role, and hold back on his attacking ability. On other teams, you'd see him likely be much more of an AM, and hence more in the spotlight with goals and assists.

He will thrive under a different system with more attacking freedom and forwards in front of him.

Thiago faces the same problem that young Xavi faced. People did not use them for their strengths !

Thiago is facing the exact same problem when Xavi faced it when Guardiola was a player. Guardiola helped Xavi a lot. Xavi has to do the same with Thiago.

Thiago rumor is utter rubbish.

I would like to see him in Dortmund, but obviously with a buy-back. Then people *slash* management will see what he's capable of and he has the chance to exploit his potential and talent.
