Robben has been phenomenal for Bayern these past few years.

That is a ridiculous thing to say.
Yeah its redemption for the last year penalty miss right?Or the fact that he didnt have the guts to step up on the penalty shootout,or forget the fact that he missed another important penalty against Dortmund that lost them the leauge.Just one good season isnt a redemption...and not a full season

No Jonathan Dos Santos. And that doesn't make sense, Thiago is an incredible talent, totally unlike Gio Dos Santos.

I've seen plenty of amazing talents that didn't deliver in the end. Thiago is not a GREAT PLAYER at this moment in time.

He's often off form and incredibly injury prone, especially this season where he wasn't all that great but stepped up during the Semis and the Final of the CL. He's a declining player and not even a guaranteed starter for them anymore, let alone "phenomenal". Think before you say such illogical things.

Yip injury prone but not that often off form.

He has been phenomenal for them this season and the previous ones when fit.

Hi, its me..
FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich have agreed to terms for Thiago Alcántara. The German club will pay a fee of 25 million euros for the midfielder. The agreement also stipulates that a friendly will be played between the two teams in the next four years. The 22-year-old leaves the Blaugrana after playing for the first team for two seasons.

Calma, calma
Bayern are gonna be awesome to watch next year. 4 teams to watch for me- Barca, Madrid, Bayern and Dortmund. Let's see if any EPL clubs can get in on the super signings act.

@barcastuff: Bayern explain that they pay 20M of Thiago's 25M transfer fee. The rest comes from the friendly game and from Thiago accepting lower salary.

If this is true it wasn't about money at all...

When was his 'one good season'?

Malaga needed to sell with their financial issues, Isco was never going to stay at the club for long. Barca on the other hand obviously have the financial power to keep him and didn't need to sell him at all, he was a player for the future.

Barca had no option but to sell b.c of the clause and b.c the player wants to go to Bayern and leave Barca.
Even if there was no clause like that, do people really think he's worth more than 30-35?

Friendly was already organised and its impossible for them to save £5m on wages unless he waived some loyalty fee as Cesc did to sign for Barca.
