Yeah its redemption for the last year penalty miss right?Or the fact that he didnt have the guts to step up on the penalty shootout,or forget the fact that he missed another important penalty against Dortmund that lost them the leauge.Just one good season isnt a redemption...and not a full season

Actually Robben has been essential for Bayern since 2010 campaign. Him and Ribery are the biggest guns Bayern has.

@barcastuff: Bayern explain that they pay 20M of Thiago's 25M transfer fee. The rest comes from the friendly game and from Thiago accepting lower salary.

If this is true it wasn't about money at all...

Lower salary than Barca or lower salary than what he had planned to get at first?

I'd like nothing better than to take on guardiola's bayern and beat them in next seasons champions league. Preferably with thiago in the team.

Yip injury prone but not that often off form.

He has been phenomenal for them this season and the previous ones when fit.

He is inconsistent and rarely ever fit so "phenomenal" is far from the word to describe him. Like it or not, fitness is a big factor in how you can judge a player's reliability and output for the team, so it's easy to say that Bayern have been fine without him and he isn't a necessity to the team, let alone "phenomenal".

He surely can't believe he'll start most games in that current Bayern team if he doesn't start much for Barcelona?

No Jonathan Dos Santos. And that doesn't make sense, Thiago is an incredible talent, totally unlike Gio Dos Santos.

Ah sorry I was wrong, thought it is Gio.
The talent is different but the way they gone is same, both think they already good enough to play many games and could get it somewhere else. Let's wait and see if Thiago can make it through.

You very much resemble an Arsenal fan from 2011 at this time. Or fan of any team who Barcelona have beaten for that matter.
