Lewandowski is going to Bayern next season, has already been agreed with Dortmund and why would you need a striker more than a CB?

No, it's not been agreed with Dortmund. Bayern wanted him now, Dortmund refused to do business with them. Barca could try to agree a deal with them and Lewa. I don't think it's likely, but with Villa leaving, getting a striker is a valid option.

It doesn't impact on the purchase of a defender, they already have a budget for that. As for Golden generation, Xavi and Iniesta started coming through more than ten years ago. We've also had Cesc and Thiago. One thing the club is good at developing is midfielders, and if they can't, well they have the money to buy one.

Klopp said that he will go free to Bayern next season which is a stupid idea from Dortmund not get money and give one of the best strikers in the world to their rivals for free.Lewandowski refused other offers just for Bayern,so its likely that he will go for free which is another great deal for Bayern..But untill next summer you never know

Klopp came out last week and said that Lewandowski is going to Bayern next season but staying on this season.

You sure that Barca should play without a goalie and with only 10 men? They are not THAT good :xavi:

The situations of Messi and Thiago in there first few seasons are barely worth comparing. It doesnt mean anything as such different situations.

Maybe but you know how good is Messi and how he understood his role in the first seasons.

Messi made his debut season when he was still a baby/toddler, while thiago had 3 seasons in barca b. That doesnt only speak of barca's unwillingness to give thiago playing time, but simply that messi, iniesta, xavi were and is far more talented.

Maybe but what do you think Dortmund have agreed to?

I think that Dortmund have agreed for Lewandowski to transfer for Bayern on a free and for them to keep him one more season, giving them time to find a replacement when the market for strikers is not as overheated as this transfer window.

He was a first team regular at 18.

Thiago wasnt at 22.

The number of first team games dont take into account age or injury records.

It doesnt really prove anything.
