It's ok,but If we will restore the time, Fabregas wasn't good when he was 20 years, than Thiago is now..soo also age plays a big role here.

At 20 Cesc was playing as a starter for Arsenal racking 4 goals and 16 assists during the '06 - 07 season. The following season he had 13 goals and 22 assists. Now, stats aren't everything but they certainly contribute to the overall end product.

Now, Thiago is indeed much more talented than Cesc. But so far, that's just about that. There's a legitimate claim to say that given Thiago would play as much as Fabregas he could be racking similar numbers, but that's just mere speculation.

Yeah there's no way to know if he'll be better or worse than fab, but at the moment he is showing plenty of promise and doesn't cost us 50M

Less then an hour left until he goes out to play u21 euros final vs Schweiz. I know he is gonna do real good today and for a long time in Barcelona aswell.

For 18 million, sell Thiago with a buy back option at 26-27. Of those 18 million, keep 10 in your pockets, add 8 to your shitty 30 million offer and buy Cesc and put this whole thing to rest.

you cant get 18 mil for someone with 15 senior appearances

and also, no. just no.

Well if you did, you take the offer. Considering Pep WANTS cesc, made him priority, and far from an experiment, why not?

So, what, some people (I suspect under-aged) now claim that Thiago is better than Fabregas? :)) Really? So is this the same Thiago that only played in a handful of games last season and who will probably be again a largely unused substitute for Barcelona this year? Sorry, but it's getting a bit ridiculous. First Bojan is seen as the greatest potential striker, since scoring for fun at junior level is enough for being the best at senior level (not!), and now Thiago is hyped as being better than Fabregas, the same player that is regarded as the best central midfielder in the PL, Arsenal's captain, the one that took that division by storm at a younger age than Thiago. Yes, Fabregas is expensive and if we don't have the money, we shouldn't try to put it on the table. But it's clear that Fabregas wouldn't be your basic substitute player; Guardiola would have to use the Xavi/Iniesta/Fabregas combo creatively, since in certain situations, Fabregas would be better than Xavi.

it´s worth giving a try isnt it? bojan didnt get playing time he still is potential world-beater FFS
if thiago never gets minutes we wont be able to say if he was better or worse, he got whole match against vilareal and he was MAGIQUE, he is playing god-likely in U-21s and Pep promised him 1st team next season....dont understand why are you all obssesed with Fabregas.... they were saying Xavi will never replace Guardiola now they say just buy Fabregas because Thiago will never replace Xavi
time will show
//lets not forget about Busquets, who would have said he is going to be our DM for another decade, he got time to prove his genius.... same with Pedro
