Thomas Muller

Pepe, Coentrao, Moutinho and even Nani(Very inconsistent though) are not bad players. As Der Kaiser said, they are not completely trash and not just a one man team(C.R)

If Muller did this during the game

He'd be getting more praise now from some memebers than he is for the hat trick he just scored. Against Portugal. At the World Cup.

Embrace his style brah. Don't hate.

He's also one of the most clutch players in football as well, showing up on the biggest stages even when he was very young.

-DFB Pokal top scorer in 09/10
-Golden boot in WC 2010 with 5 goals and 3 assists at age 20. Scored in round of 16, quarters, (suspended for semis), and 3rd place playoff against England, Argentina, and Uruguay respectively.
-Scored in CL final 11/12, would've scored in the 12/13 CL final as well if it weren't for an unbelievable Subotic goal-line clearance
-in the 12/13 campaign he scored in quarterfinals vs. Juve, 3 goals and 1 assist against Barca in semis with absolute dominance, and a crucial penalty in the DFB Pokal final
-Hat trick in WC 2014 opener vs. Portugal
-Scored vs City away in CL, scored in DFP Pokal final vs Dortmund, top scorer of DFB Pokal in 13/14

All of this and he isn't even 25 yet. If you were to judge him on overall abilities he isn't one of the top players in the world but in terms of delivering goals when you need them he's one of the most elite. I doubt he'll decline as he ages as well, considering his game is built around off the ball positioning and his own intelligence/anticipation. His game isn't about aesthetics but he is so brutally efficient, it'll be interesting to see how far he goes.

A lot of us would've been delighted if Neymar could've scored some more cheap tap ins this past season to help us win la Liga or if Alexis could've scored goals like that in his first 2 seasons. Muller's game is not particularly graceful or pleasing to the eye but he has a knack for getting in the right positions to score goals and that's a good quality. We all joke about Ronaldo's tap ins but a goal is a goal. We need more Muller types(Higuain maybe ) at Barcelona to complement Messi, Neymar, and Iniesta's fantastic all around games.

This guy is like a bit withdrawn version of Klose. Never fails to utilize the opportunities. Although Klose is more humble and a gentleman.

Why Pep still inisisted on using Mandzukic at top and not Muller will forever remain a mystery.
