yeah thats basically the first thing that comes up on youtube when you search for interviews.
I dont however see anything questionable in this, a guy being absolutely natural, laughing a lot, taking himself not too seriously.
Thats kinda refreshing in contrary to all those usual boring interviews with the boring standard catchphrases. But I guess for some that it is already "too much". All that smiling and shit.

he's overdoing it in my opinion, but, on the other hand, i think that günter netzer is hilarious even though he is also quite arrogant. i guess everybody has a different sense of humor.

he scores minimum 20 in every season, what are you saying man?
this year he has 8 already in 5 games and the season is hardly even underway

20 League goals. Pretty funny actually, all the OTT praise he gets and he's never scored 15.

in germany you dont just score 20 league goals. Lewanwodski, Ribery, Reus or Robben dont do that either. But Müller's goal-assist tally is always top 3 in germany every season.
the guy scores normall when it matters, rather 1 or 2 goals against Barcelona than the 4-0 and the 5-0 against Malaga.
In 10 or more Champions League matches or 7 World Cup matches he has more goals/per game than in 34 Bundesliga matches.

I dont watch Bayern that much, but he shows up in big games alot. He is a NT-legend already, but i feel that his stats are somewhat lacking on club level, for a player of his calibre.

ok, based on the interviews i've seen of him, he seems to be a douche. now i hope he doesn't cry himself to sleep because of my comments.

What? He's almost the definition of the opposite of a "douche".
For you, Ibrahimovic must be a total loser-douche.

At Bayern, you don't focus on a single player like Real and to a lesser extent Barca do. Müller was often not even a 100% starter, yet his stats were still beyond doubt given the circumstances.

Really? When i look up stats for Bayern, i often find Mullers stats kinda meh/ok/decent. Its not that they are bad, but when you consider what a NT legend he is, and the fact that i often watch Germany but not Bayern, im a bit dissapointed. That said, i dont know about his overall play for you guys, so i wont judge.

If we're judging players solely on their performances in big games then surely Didier Drogba is the best player in football history. I just think it's funny how people flip-flop on these things. One day we're criticizing players like Giroud, Benzema, Hazard for not scoring enough League goals (mythical 20 goal mark anyone?) then another day it doesn't matter, only goals in big games do.

It can't be one or the other right?

We're talking about a 40-60 game season here not a 7 game tournament.

He's been around 13 goals, 10 assists in almost all of his domestic league seasons. Not bad. Then he scores well in the Champions League too and is a very clutch player. Not bad at all tbf.

Especially since he's not called for the best thing since sliced bread like Hazard.

Think of this one: People often overrate scoring players.

Those who criticize guys like Hazard and Benzema for not scoring enough should watch the games and stop looking at stats.
But if you really want to go there: Müller's stats are not even bad. Look up how many goals the top goalscorers in the German league scored in the last seasons. Look up how often they have played for their teams, how many games Müller has played and what kind of goals he has scored (was it the 1:0 or the 4:0, against which opponents etc.). You will find out that he is a really important part of one of the strongest teams in the world and helps them win plenty of games with his scoring.

As a footballer he is great, the biggest enigma in the sport today. Can do everything amazingly but is no specialist in any aspect of the game.
Except maybe positioning?
I will never like him though, in a same way like how I dislike Nasri, RVP, Lewandowski, Götze, Terry, Giggs, Evra, Adebayor, Torres, Mourinho and a shitload of current/former Real players.
