I remember 5 years ago I thought we were crazy to pay such a lot of money for Alves but it has proved to be such gr8 signing ,while Hleb looked like a bargain as he was one of Arsenal stars but proved to be a big flop
I would honestly accept the risk with a players like Kompany or Hummels

I'm pretty sure Guaita is one of the options, especially considering Valencia's GK situation

Hopefully not ,He isn't that good at all,I don't know why he should even be in our list ,same with Reina

So who would be the best Gk for Barça (asking in general)?

3-Lloris

De Gea isn't a realistic option anymore ,he would have been perfect (beside his price) but SAF would never let him go
I like Stegan ,think he would be good for the price ,Courtois has all the needed tools to play at Barca ,but would Chelsea let him go? I hope he can push for a transfer to the Camp Nou,lastly I would go for Lloris
As I previously mentioned,I don't see Reina or Guaita good enough, so that limits our options

I think that Inigo Martinez can be a good solution but we absolutely need to buy an actual world class defender .
Zubi should go for Inigo Martinez who's not really expensive (10/12m) and a big name like Hummels, Kompany , David Luiz, Chiellini etc.
Add Neymar and a GK like Ter Stegen and this mercato will be perfect and we'll definitely get ready for next seasons.

Goalkeeping position is probably the most precarious position in Barca. We've been through reasons and skill-sets required for the job before so won't repeat it here.
I'll just remind that despite Valdes owning the #1 for a decade now, it wasn't so easy in the past. It was by far the most challenging position to fill and throwing some youngster in the fire would be a big gamble.

That's a pretty PL-centric view... Alves was already the best in his position before he joined, killing it for Sevilla.
