New tax laws in France for the rich might make him leave Paris.
They nedd to pay 75% taxes of everything they make above 1 mil.
Its also one of the reasons why its rumoured Ibra wants to leave.

Wow. That's unreal!

Barcelona close the circle around Guaita

mundodeportivo.com 04/11/2013 12:44

Narcis Julia, right hand Andoni Zubizarreta in the sports management of FC Barcelona, was on Sunday in the VIP box of the Valencia Mestalla Valladolid witnessing and, according to sports daily said Superdeporte of Valencia, it was with the intention of seeing in action to Vicent Guaita. Barca are thinking very seriously about replacing goalkeeper Victor Valdes, as anticipated Mundo Deportivo , and the presence of Julia has not only confirmed the strong interest Barca.
After two games without playing due to the policy of rotation of Ernesto Valverde, was again the target holder. And this time Zubizarreta has delegated Julia, a man of his total and absolute confidence, to send detailed reports on Guaita .
Since late 2012, the track Guaita by technicians Barca has been a constant. Mundo Deportivo and published last week which was the first on the list ahead of other Spanish goalkeepers, including David De Gea, Pepe Reina and Andres Fernandez Kiko Casilla .
It appears that the performance goal against Valladolid has finished completely convince Barcelona technical secretary, because it meets the requirements that the club requires.

No mention of a potential fee.

I don't particularly like the French president or his politics but those laws should be established in any country. In fact I don't think anyone should even earn above 1 million, football players included.

Back to topic: I thought I once read an article that stated PSG will pay Ibra so much that he still earns 10 or 15m after taxes but I might be wrong.

Socialist?
Those guys earn it b/c they are the best at their jobs and because fans (like us) are ready to pay to watch them ,they didn't steal anyone
Any taxes above 50% is just an absolute steal bt the government tbh

The clubs from certain countries are appealing that the different tax rates should be taken into account for FFP.

Wouldnt be surprised if rich clubs like PSG get round it that way by being able to write off the extra tax they have to pay so it doesnt have to count towards FFP.

Why do you guys think we will get any of Silva,Kompany,Verthongen or Hummels?
Hummels is the most probable choice,if it is true that he said he would go to Barca,Silva and Kompany no way in hell, why would PSG/City let theyre best defenders go?
And i doubt Verthongen will go after just one season at Tottenham,he fits in well, looks happy and is worshiped there, plus he would be expensive considering he came to Spurs only last summer

Vertonghen or Hummels I can see happening. Kompany's apparently having issues with Mancini, which I'm guessing is why he's being linked with a move out. It's still extremely unlikely though.

As for Silva, no way, unless something crazy happens. Apparently he stated before yesterday's PSG/Barca game that he's a childhood fan of Barca, and didn't rule out a future move, but still, I think there's no way it'll happen.
