Trent would be a disaster here. If Jules is getting hate for his defending you ain't seen nothing yet with Trent.
Slot is actually slowly phasing him out of big games and without him they beat Madrid and City in a week, when usually they get battered by Madrid. That coupled with the emergence of Bradley means that Trent is actually 3rd priority for contractual talks, behind Virg and Salah.
It's actually the biggest negative mark on Klopp's reign at Liverpool that he continued playing Trent in big cup finals. If he had played a right back that could actually defend ( Gomez ) they would have another Champions League Trophy, maybe even two.
