TV3: BARCA wans to sell MESSI

Yeah it would be nice to have Messi here for another decade and selling his shirts but this board has only done inept things and them having 250$ down payment is better to the creditors in Spain to get this stadium going.[/QUOTE

I would bet you anything that this board will not sell Messi. They would resign before doing that. Wait and see.

Maybe its Messis side that leaked a fake rumor to TV3 so everyone turns against the board so they have no choice but renew his contract at his terms.

The godfather :messi:

I would say it could be either side linking it to pressure the other.

To be honest if they are offering him 40m a season and he has said no to that then it could get very messy...

Best midfielder around
If he were to leave, and God forbid, it should be for a team like Bayern, Man City, or even Real Madrid. That would be some really good football to watch. All teams with great managers so he could play at his best again.

I would stop watching football if he ever were to play for Madrid. If he does end up leaving ( which would be extremely sad) I hope atleast its an honest real football powerhouse like Liverpool,Arsenal, Bayern, Milan, or United. Not some plastic oil money fake club like Chelski, P$g or City.

Hehehe... was bound to happen i don't know why people are surprised this is always been a Barcelona thing

When did you keep someone till his 30's ? Maradona ? Cruyff ? Rivaldo ? Ronaldo ? Ronaldinho , Laudrup ? Stoichkov ...

Hell not even Puyol is retiring here , neither did Pep ...

Always been a Barcelona thing , nothing change ... The king is dead , long live the king... even the approach is the same way

Now here is what you will read next winter if it happens this summer
Messi was chronically injured and cannot gain his old form anymore
He is blocking Neymar progress and the team can't have both and sacrifice their style
He became a dictator disrupting the team harmony & bad influence without doing an effort (insert couple of stats , defeats , never heard before inside stories , his personal vendetta against Ibra , Villa , Eto'o & even Dinho... and then the cherry on top of the cake would be "Pep wanted to sell him and when the board refused he left " )

fast forward few years and remove Messi and put Neymar and enter the dragon
Come on... i'm sure someone at least 2 or 3 comes from an old generation like me and remember all those incidents in the past 30 years ?
In for a lovely dramatic summer

Yeah, madridistas can keep dreaming.

On a serious note, I'm a bit worried too but then I don't see this happening, at all. Can rather imagine someone leaking false rumours to the press for whatever agenda.

Yep Schuster as well ...Messi is huge however 21 year old Ronaldo was huge too scoring 34 goals in 37 games in his debut taking both Europe & la liga by storm winning the cup winners cup & copa in his first season and sold end of this great season to Inter ...
Catalans always remain business people first & foremost and loyalty is never in their vocabulary when it comes to players

Don't need to dream , this is not 2009/2010 man... things are different

You are a Barcelona fan prepare for everything and anything especially those moves that never make sense and i'm sure even young guys still doesn't really comprehend why Eto'o was sold in his prime for a feeling a wimp, why Yaya left , why Abidal left , why Ibra was bought and sold next season or as recent as how the fuck you didn't buy a CB yet or why the B team players are not used in an injury crisis ....
Welcome to FC Barcelona

Has messi or anyone whose close to him come out to deny this? Are they not coming out because the sources where this information is coming from not reliable at all?

Fuck off, beast. All of sudden you people started showing up. You people have so much class, no wonder you are all supporting the same stinking club.

There is no need for the insults , try to behave like an adult and show some class if you are worried about me supporting a "Stinking club "

If i wanted to gloat because we won a cup i would have posted in RM thread or the Clasico game thread i didn't talk about it at all & i had plenty of chances this week from the CL crash out to last night...
