Exactly! The "it wouldn't been a fk in the EPL" comment is just silly, we didn't play an EPL game yesterday! And they can foul play, rough tackle as much as they want on a rainy day in Stoke - in CL we play more civilized

It's because of his skills in 1 on 1 duels, I suppose. Aside from the fact that he's absolutely brilliant at them, they really serve as eye-candy, and easily overshadow his shortcommings unless you really pay attention and watch the replays.

I wasn't so impressed by his performance over the 2 legs of the tie. It looked like he only had 2 choices in any situation, over power the opponent and risk a foul and maybe a booking, or get to the floor and let the size do the magic. I like Kompany so much but he wasn't any where near his best against Barcelona.
