Hey guys remember those days when people argued about which of Ronaldo, Messi, and Rooney was the world's best?

Rooney is nowhere near as good as those two obviously, but despite what some fans here (who watch him maybe five times a year) might say, he's still a very good player. Was United's best outfield player for much of last season, which although on paper isn't saying much, at times he was winning us points by himself.

I'd agree he's not the player he was, but he would still walk into most teams.
