Rooney is really growing on me. I´ve allways seen him as that guy that is actually pretty awesome in his own right, but is mentioned in a crowd where the other players are just plain better. Right now he is not shamed by any comparison at all though.

Be interesting how things play out. Madrid i know were very interested in him which lead to him issuing the statement before the stuff went into overdrive. Barcelona i'd imagine would love him but only if he indicates he wants to move. His best position is deep, intelligent football is where he thrives. Centrally or left.

I wouldn't be able to doubt that he'd be fantastic here at Barca. But indeed he's becoming a United great, Ferguson didn't make any good signings this summer but Rooney has stepped up and deserves all the praise he's been getting.
