sometimes i feel like some of you are more messi fans than barca fans...complete meltdown because ronaldo having a great game "will put pressure on messi and he wont get ballon d'or." christ, who gives if messi doesnt get a ballon d'or. lol

people get crucified for this on Barcaforum. I agree. Some of people here are Messi fans rather than Barca fans. Messi has to step up his game at the biggest level.

Ronaldo going down in history books as a better player when he clearly is not.. That would hurt a lot.

Don't worry, nobody worth listening to judges players by how many Balon D'Or's they have, Messi will be regarded as the much better player by a distance.

Don't worry guys, Portugal has no business winning this tournament, they won't have an easy path to the final (like they had in Euro 2016) regardless if they finish 1st or 2nd of their group. Brazil is going to win it, they're playing great football and Tite teams always have great mentality.

That being said, Ronaldo's game today was iconic and pretty much guaranteed ballon d'or for him.

I am going to make a bold prediction just like how I did when portugal won euros after they eliminated croatia,
Or madrid winning the last 2 ucls,
And also how I predicted Roma would eliminate us.

Portugal are winning this WC.
Dont forget me when it happens :lol:

I think they're winning it too and I'll bet on them, it will be depressing to watch but at least I'll have some money.

After the 3 CLs in a row I know there's no limit to Ronaldo's luck and clutchness in big moments. At first I thought it was Real Madrid the lucky team but now it's obvious God loves Ronaldo.
