Every time I watch Japan in the world cup they're always by far the best Asian team in the tournament, yet in every fucking lead up to the world cup it's always some other team (like Qatar this time) that's described as the best team because of their record in continental tournaments. Does Japan just not take these tournaments like the Asian cup seriously? Because they are beyond what Qatar has shown so far.
