People will never learn to stop being so damn reactionary.
The entire club is a mess because Madrid have been so succsessful in the last 3 years and are likely to get even stronger in the summer. We can thank Bartomeu for this and the overhyped EPL, whose best clubs are like 3 wins and 7 defeats vs this Madrid, even though their team is not even close to being as strong as during prime Modric, Kroos, Marcelo, Ramos, Ronaldo, and Benzema days.

It is what it is. Which is shite scenario for Barca and its fans. But you can't pretend that this is not the current reality and live in complete denial.

You are the reactionary ones.
You blindly deny reality and react against it, only based on your whims
When you constantly slam your head against the wall, not realizing it's a wall, it is your problem
not of the people telling you there is a wall in front of you

For once a guy who loves Barça more than anyone else and dares to speak honestly from within about the real situation the club is experiencing, far from forofisms and selling realities that are not, we him in the street. Hopefully they will bring us a German who has no idea how toxic and self-destructive we are. Xavi leaves, leave. We don't deserve you. We disgust.

What am I being reactionary about? A couple reports saying Xavi is out and the entire board goes crazy, which is why I made fun of all the news in my first post.

This place goes crazy at every little thing that happens.

Marc Crosas sums up the problem with this club. All his posts are in Spanish, but when it comes to something about the running of the club, he switches it to Catalan.

The nationalism is entrenched in the mentality of the club. And this is what holds it back. We forget the origins of the club were international in itself.

So apparently different sources saying Laporta never fully trusted Xavi. If so why did the club mortgage their future and bet the house on Xavi?
I hope Xavi is sacked and Laporta has to call new elections. Club has been a joke for too long.

People who write Xavi only said the truth don't understand that an employee, especially a coach in a football club has to act in the interest of the club and the players first of all. If even the employees start running their mouths about problems openly, you can close the club.
It's a duty of a coach to keep competing without whining over obvious things, otherwise go look for another job. It's not in his job description to reduce fan expectations.
If he can't handle the fan pressure, he can always leave, no one forces him to be at the club.
This. Nailed it.

AFAIK Crosas is living in Mexico and is working as an analyst for TUDN (American Spanish language sport channel based in Florida) so makes sense if he normally posts in Spanish as most his followers probably don't understand Catalan.

He's also not wrong that outsiders don't really understand internal politics of this club and how toxic environment around Barca can be. Even for former club legends like Koeman let alone someone like Flick who has no previous experience here.
