I think Xavi will have learned a lot of things at Barca. Give him some time to reflect. Prolly do better at next club.

That's the good scenario, in which he acquires some self-knowledge: most importantly that he has HELL LOT to learn to become a good coach, and that he has to start from low

So far, this doesn't look like it's happening.
He still thinks jobs in 2nd tier clubs are beneath him

Bayern last season finished 3rd in Germany instead of winning the league as they usually do. If that is not a sign they are not as strong as before...

Situation today is not the same as 2-3 years ago. Even though in Germany we should have beaten them 2 years ago also. Stonewall pen on Dembele at 0-0, and 2 sitters misssed by Lewa and Pedri.

Flick is still gonna get credit if he beats Bayern lol. Don't you worry about that. They are still a top team. I don't see the big fuss in pointing at clear things, such as the fact that we are now better than 2 years ago when we faced them last time, and they are in decline.

We also don't have Stegen, that ups our chances at least 10-15% on its own in CL.

But that's the point itself, the Bayern of last season has no relevance when judging the Bayern of this season that we will be playing. One who is now top, has invested immensely and playing well.

So for example, do we rate the Girona of last season higher or this seasons? Or Leverkusen of last season or this season?

So I am just saying, that this framing that we are playing a worse Bayern than last time out is factually not true. And how they performed last season has no relevance on how we judge this seasons versions.

There's many steps down from Barcelona before you end up unemployable. He did win silverware after all.

I think that's just it for many of us. Xavi owes us nothing with his career choices obviously, but it would be nice to see how he performs at another club. See what he really is like as a manager outside of the Barcelona environment.

His career has been Al-Sadd and Barcelona. That's like Tyson Fury up until the Wlad fight, but luckily without the post fight bender and self-sabotage.

No serious club will hire Xavi

Flick has had far more injuries than xavi has had to deal with and gotten good results with nice football

Xavi played very bad football, his transfers were awful, and he has a personality ill suited for management

Will join Lampard, Gerrard and Roy Keane in obscurity or some Catalan pundit if lucky

The reality is I will support any manager that leads the team to a big title competing vs a much superior Madrid side at the time.

Did Xavi do that? Yes, he absolutely, unequivocally did.

You guys are funny. Took the team on 9th in Spain, won the league vs Madrid in his time. Took the team trashed in CL groups by Benfica, got it near a CL semis, failing due to a sabotage job by Araujo. Yeah, truly out of his depth.
All lies, we are seeing now the team is more than good enough to win LaLiga, even though the team now is worse than the one in 21-22.

Xavi trying to pretend he's happy to see Flick doing well and exposing his excuses and acts of sabotage.

If Flick was struggling, Xavi and his entourage would be leaking to press trying to undermine him.

It has 'fake rumor' written all over it,

BUT I REALLY WANT it to happen

To LAUGH SO HARD  :ROFLMAO:
I said a year ago that when Ten Hag gets sacked Xavi will take the job, I don't think it's fake, I think Xavi genuinely thinks if he had lots of money he would be one of the best managers in the world.

When he was here all he complained about was signings and he's going to a club who will sign him whoever he wants as long as they agree to come.

It will flop spectacularly, when he is out of the comfy environment he had here it won't work out well, what will remain to be seen though is if he can improve on Ten Hag's tenure, which is a low bar.
