Even if with the likes of Jutgla, Abde and Luuk as the frontline we are 1 point away from the CL places. We will get there no problem.

So far Xavi's forwards have been implemented very basically. EZ Abde has had good (and bad ofc) games coming from streetball last year. Luuk has played fine despite his limitations and having both the speed and touch of a legless warhog.

It is not hard to conceive that Adama (more so) and Auba will be able to play to a decent level from the start.

As long as the defence and midfield (where we have the world class potential but also Busquets) is functioning and playing as a unit and with speed of play, that the forward line will be functional.

Here's hoping to that.

We're in a league where Falcao came from the Kebab shop and scored 5 in his first 8 games, and Oscar Trejo has 9 assists at 33 and coming straught outta Segunda.

No high expectations with Auba but if he is fit and motivated, he may very well surprise is having been a world class player for many years.

Even with everyone injured or out with covid and starting Luuk, Abde, Jutgla etc over and over again we're not far from Top 4.

Can only get better with the additions of Torres, Auba, Adama from here on.

But somehow getting some wins in and finishing 4th is only good enough for this season, so Xavi better step it up and prepare accordingly for the next one or he'll be done before christmas.

We win games with extreme hardship because there is no leadership up front and you cannot expect from 17-19 year olds to lead a team in La Liga.

Xavi invested in reinforcing our attacking power and now it looks more promising than having Luuk or Depay, which was the case at the beginning of the season.

The good standing in the table is due to the string of easy games in La Liga schedule, except the Granada game which was disappointing result. A lot of tough games ahead in February when our true colors will show.

He has gotten enough attacking talent now. No excuse to continue to hang around outside the top 4.

Now only question is which should be our priority.

Should we finish top 4?

Should we win europa?

Should we do both?

Knowing Xavi we will win Europa and end up challening for the league title.

Think getting top 4 in La Liga is the easier route than winning the EL.

However, winning the EL gives us the best possible outcome in every angle from this point on.

Finishing top 4 in La Liga is way more realistic, that's why Xavi should focus on that.

I just don't see Barca getting anything near to a trophy with this backline. Needless to say that EL is not a joke trophy. Some very good teams are playing there in the final stages. Getting past Napoli will already be very difficult.
